July 5th 2022, and i have barely stumbled upon this gem. i watched the movie a few days ago and since seen a lot of other video related to the Granite Mountain Hot Shots, Rest In Peace, and this goes on to prove they arent forgotten and will be legends .
Two years ago today.... Can't help but remember those lost and keep Brendon and the families of those lost in my prayers, as well as crew members who had left and lost friends to Yarnell Hill Fire. Eight of the crew members listed on video were not part of the crew when tragedy struck. Rip: Andrew Ashcraft, Robert Caldwell, Travis Carter, Dustin DeFord, Christopher MacKenzie, Eric Marsh, Grant McKee, Sean Misner, Scott Norris, Wade Parker, John Percin, Jr., Anthony Rose, Jesse Steed, Joe Thurston, Travis Turbyfill, Billy Warneke, Clayton Whitted, Kevin Woyjeck and Garret Zuppiger.

Heartrending to watch in January 2014. At 3:50 the song gave me the chills. Rest in Peace, Granite Mountain Hotshots. You have done well, you will NEVER be forgotten.
Fui combatiente de incendios forestales alrededor de 6 años, cuando la tragedía de Granite Mountain, nos encontrabamos combatiendo un incendio que duro mas de 1 mes, se logro extinguir gracias a una lluvia que cayo y se logro extinguir esa noche nos disponiamos a celebrar pues al dia siguiente nos reuniriamos con nuestras familias, pero también esa noche nos dierón la triste noticia de lis brigadistas que habian muerto ese día en el vecino estado de Arizona, nos pusimos muy tristes y los honramos con un minuto de silencio, ser combatiente de incendios forestales no es facil es un trabajo muy peligroso y de alto ruesgo, descancen en paz compañeros brigadistas combatientes, nosotros seguiremos en la linea de fuego de combate.
