Like it or not, that fast can't be easy. They seem to cross that thin, barely visible line between punk and hardcore. They're every bit as fast as the Germs or Circle Jerks were.
I think they sound better than ever. Seen them twice, in 2019 and in 2022 and I think they sound better now than they used to. I think Josh Hardy has been a great replacement for Pricey and I think their faster tempos really stir up more energy at gigs
@@Rhubarb.and.Crustard I mixed the Get This in Ya EP and did their live sound at their first sold out headlining gig at the Crowbar in Brisbane, some of the songs were definitely better slower like Temperature and yes the new Josh is definitely a better live guitarist, Pricey was getting too wasted and sloppy even in the early days
@@jimgiblet hey Micheal, weren’t you bagging the shit out of this band back in the day coz they went in another direction? Some people remember you too.
@@jimmyslade6754 yep but there was a good reason for that, when they teamed up with the Cosmic Psychos management and sound guy, they just dumped me with no explanation, no more 'name on the door ect, then hit me with copyright infringements for clips I had on youtube that they had previously given me permission for, but Eamon and I got back on speaking terms and I still ocassionally stay in touch. Still in touch with Pricey too, he's a great guy.
