  • Mutual TLS authentication requires two-way authentication between the client and the server. With mutual TLS, clients must present X.509 certificates to verify their identity to access your API. This is a new method for client-to-server authentication that can be used with API Gateway’s existing authorization options. Custom domain names are simpler and more intuitive URLs that you can provide to your API users. In this video we will go over the detailed flow of Amazon API gateway Custom Domain with Mutual TLS in AWS, advantages, provision certificate in Amazon Certificate Manager (ACM), and then point it to your API endpoint.
