With this dunk by James, the Lakers got up by 8 points early in the 3rd, and hope was starting to creep in for Lakers fans that maybe, the impossible was about to happen. But just like all the previous games…
The Nuggets came storming back with a 14-2 run blitzing the Lakers and retaking the lead.
And late in the 4th quarter it was a shootout, as both teams were trading heavy blows.
You already know, just like the past matchups this was a copy-paste script.
But we did however see something completely unexpected.
Wooow where did this come from?! Jamal gets his revenge on LeBron with this huge poster dunk for that rejection he received back in game 2.
Speaking of revenge, AD finally got a rare stop on Jokic late in the clutch, when the refs overturned the foul call after the challenge by Darvin Ham. Which btw cost them the final time-out. So that is 3 final minutes without a timeout. But, we’ll get to that in a second.
Jokic however, used the mismatch on Hachimura here and quickly answered back.
And unlike game 2, James had decent support on the offensive end by Austin Reeves.
And on the other end from what it looked like a great defensive possession by the Lakers turned into..
It just seems like Nikola keeps popping in the right places every time.. And on the other side, LeBron responds with..
Now, I gotta remind you of this epic sequence from game 2.
And last night we saw a deja vu…
You can see it by LeBron’s reaction, he’s like come on not again.
And after a couple of empty possessions on both sides, we’re down to 38 seconds as the Lakers have a 2 for 1 opportunity.
LeBron makes a great decision by attacking the basket, and he calmly knocks down two clutch free throws to tie this game one more time.
Now, Mike Malone has a time-out but chooses to let his team go for it, just like he did in game 2.
Murray notices the difference between clocks being 2 seconds, and knowing that the Lakers are out of timeouts he made sure to take the last good shot.
Oh my goodness, Jamal kills the Lakers again, knocking down this open mid-range jumper off of the great screen by Jokic. Now we see why burning that time out earlier was so crucial, as they ended up without a real chance to save themselves.
Another wild game between these 2 teams, as I rated it an 8.8 on rategame the app that I’m a part of, which was dead on with you guys. The link is in the description for all of you who want to download the app and join. Do you agree with Poolle? Is this the last time we see Lebron in the playoffs? That’s interesting. Anyways,
I gotta give credit to the Lakers for their fight and this shocking statistic where you can see they had the lead throughout the majority of this series, but this is what championship basketball is all about as Nikola Jokic explained it in the post game.
The Nuggets are heading to the second round for a battle against the up and coming Minnesota Timberwolves. As for LeBron and the Lakers it’s a long summer ahead.
The Celtics and the Heat was about what you’d expect. In terms of the final result at least.
But I did not expect Derrick White to carry this team.
White was doing everything out there with 38 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Seriously look at these insane closeouts.
And these 2 throwdowns looked like a replay because…
This was the same exact play, and same exact result for White.
Just an all around great game for him, and it tells you a lot about the depth of the Celtics when the fourth or 5th best player can explode for damn near 40 points.
Now speaking of the depth, they took a major hit as Porzingis injured himself and was visibly frustrated as I’m assuming he knows it’s not something minor.
This is so important for their finals run, but he will have time to rest and recover as I see them barreling through this series and whoever comes out of the Cavs and the Magic.
This routine win for them, got just a 5.3 from me on rategame pretty much on par with how the rest of you rated it.
I do like this comment by frey, Derrick White legacy game. He was huge in this one.
And credit to OKC, for taking care of business and sweeping the Pelicans. Not much to go over in detail here, the Thunder showed the entire world throughout this series that they are for real, and now they’ll have some time to rest as they wait for the winner of Dallas and LA.
Another big night in the playoffs, following this dogfight as we saw what happens when 2 superstars go at each other’s throats. You gotta check out what happened right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out. - Sport
Lebron scared that woman on the sidelines when he threatened her, but didn’t scare any nuggets.
Building basketball mentality trough horse racing is such a Jokic thing
trough, i see what you did there
Riding sweaty horses must make the jock itch.
Murray was just a killer in this series man
MPJ frustrated me. He just kept making tough shots. 😭
Murray is such a cool dude and looks like he is gonna put on a uniform later and deliver for UPS
He was a killer against LA last year too
Yeah, Jokic + Murray was unbeatable for the Lakers
He was clutch for sure but not that good in general. His shooting efficiency could be better overall
Jokic just had a perfect 0-0 in the FT, what a player
That's a 100%. Too bad the ref's have their heads up their arses.
Nba been rigging games for LeBalco James for 2 years now. Let everyone chant LeBalco in all nba arenas!!
@@EllaXRob 2 years? You mean his entire career. Go back and watch the calls he got on the heat.
Jokic never had FT and won the game. Refs wildin on rigging the game gifting Lakers so much FTs…but they never won… 😂😂😂😂 poor lads.
Nba been rigging games for LeBalco James for 2 years now. Let everyone chant LeBalco in all nba arenas!!
When the most athletic era dominated by old school style of player 😂😂😂😂
27 to 9 FTA is the key point of the game. The last foul on LBJ is the most absurd.
Everything about him is absurd.
Nba been rigging games for LeBalco James for 2 years now. Let everyone chant LeBalco in all nba arenas!!
8 on 5
If no refs help they would not be even in playoffs
There’s been ft differentials like this already throughout these playoffs, except it only gets mentioned now because it’s Lebron and it must be rigged😂 Oh, and the nuggets literally got more foul calls than the lakers throughout this series. Yikes
They were not trading blows. LA shot free throws almost every posession in the 4th while Dever actually had to make shots.
Nuggets still look like they can repeat this year
There is a high chance they may repeat (Nuggets). But they wiLL face a different breed of animaL in the next round.
@@Kantodiez twolves definitely have a great shot at the championship. Ant is crazy
idk about that man. Their bench this time is not the same as last year. They needed Uncle Jeff and Bruce Brown defense. Peyton Watson was doing good soo far and Braun sometimes hesitates to shoot. Twolves is way more complete than nuggets but we will see tho.
@@yur1vgray. To be honest I knew the wolves were good but the nuggets did the best they could keeping who they had And did a decent job at it. But I had no clue the bench also had depth for that team
Whoever wins between the Nuggets and the Wolves will win the championship.
That was so smart for Malone to trust his guys with the final possession. It isn’t just your timeout, it’s a timeout for the opponent too.
they had nothing to talk about, they know what to do and how so they would've only lost their advantage and flow of the game. I don't understand why the lakers didn't play the foul game: you can't win without the ball. Stopping play for a minute gives you time to talk and giving up 2 shots could get you a 3pt opportunity in return.
@@dasiro Yeah I was thinking about that too. It’s tough though, it’s almost certain that they would make at least 1, and now you HAVE to score going the other way. It looks bad because Murray wound up getting a wide open look, but I can understand playing for the tie and giving your defence the chance to get a stop. It is their season after all. Plus it’s a quick decision to have to make. I don’t disagree with you, but I understand the tough spot that Ham was in.
@@dasirobetter idea would have been to double murray
@@coasteyscoasteys4150 actually dumb to double. The game is tied let him work to beat you instead of giving up a open look for someone else

Calling that Murray shot an open midrange jumper is crazy he was mobbed by Reaves 🤣
Now you know why these announcers are on the receiving end of so much criticism.

@@trashcangus It must be contagious.
Leflop's & Lakers are the best buddies of the Zebras😩😢😭😰
Jamal is the most underrated point guard in the League. He's easily an all star if he's in the East. I liked him since bubble days. He killed the jazz when he led the nuggets from a 1-3 deficit
He used to be quite inconsistent during regular season
He also then got injured so people forgot about him for ages. Hilariously criticising Jokic for not being more successful in the playoffs. Then as soon as Murray came back, the team felt complete.
Crazy he is not a all star
He is not an all star cause in reg season his numbers are low compare to playoffs. Also he is injured or not available always during all star break.
@@lukamagicgod thank you , so all star is basically selected from the mvp race table like top 30 ?
Jahmal Murray is a pure assassin; the way he took his time moving around defenders and teammates before taking the final game winning shot, vicious!
Great content! I do miss the more analytic videos you make, maybe one for the match up of an upcoming series
Murray is so clutch and he is one of the best playoff performer of all time.
No more ham .
too haram for bron
spam spam spam spam cheeese bacon and spam though!
Can’t blame ham on them leaving shooters open
Excuses, excuses, excuses. Coaches don’t play basketball. Players do that. Watch Kyrie Irving exit interview.. from the last game against the clippers
LeBrick chose Ham as their coach so.. Being a Lakers coach is subject to a one year contractual job. 😆
Gotta give Lakers credit for fighting til the end and of course the refs too for trying to keep the Lakers hopes alive..
Did you notice the two Laker-whiners begging for a foul to bail them out at that last brick they threw up at the buzzer ?? ...and I do mean threw-up.
All-time refball, but alas. It wasn't enough.
😂😂😂
@@kurosan0079That's why the nuggets played hard in the first half for the last game, to counter the 20 "and ones" Lebron gets a game! Lakers +500 free-throws on their opponents' average!
Gotta love Murray sticking his tongue out like Jordan while dunking on that guy wearing that #23 jersey....and the Joker quoting the goat in the post game..." it's not about how you start, but how you finish"
I agree with Barkley. A successful challenge should not cost you a timeout.
It should also not cost you a challenge. You should get infinite challenges as long as you're getting them right
...it should when the ref's are that bad. Choose whether you want their gift or a time out. That no-call on Davis was atrocious !! The Lakers definitely received a gift on that one.
I mean I'm a nuggets fan but I don't understand why a successful challenge should cost a timeout that is mind boggling to any sports fan but in the end it should have been a foul
sunddenly it become when it could have save them... don't act like they don't benifited with it on the regular season. stop your nonsense reason
I agree though the funny thing is that AD definitely fouled Jokic long before the shot attempt was made. It was all ball on the block attempt when a foul was called but he was grabbing up all over Jokic and fouling him beforehand. But yeah, it should be like in tennis where you lose one challenge if you were wrong but keep it if you were right.
Jamal Murray, The Laker Killer
He made 2 clutch shots, yes, but he was very inefficient from the field in this series
@@svk_5104 Just effective enough eh ?? That's what the great ones do - they come thru in the clutch, when it matters.
@@78tag but he wasn’t the Laker killer. MPJ was the real Laker killer of this series
@@svk_5104 It's your opinion - that's cool. :)
Ham is the Lakers killer not the DN players, Lakers was out-coached 13x against DN😩
Murray must have watched MJ in the 1998 finals g6. 😂 He was unreal in games 2 and 5. Great job!
as a old bulls fan. it feels good to see a team completely have lebrons number. all them times he knocked out drose and co.

Lakers the FT machine 😂
Nba been rigging games for LeBalco James for 2 years now. Let everyone chant LeBalco in all nba arenas!!
I learnt it from horse Racing "Its not how you start , its how you finish ". NIKOLA JOKER JOKIC .
That offensive rebs by jokic and gordon were the reasons for their defeat. If they secured that... need to hire MARK JACKSON as a head coach, rondo as an asst coach, draft bronny, and encourage bron to take a paycut.
It was so smart of Jokic to close the full speed attempt of Lebron
Thank You Denver Nuggets for sendingLeBron James and the Lakers home for a long summer vacation... Thank You Once again.... 😁😉
I tire of hearing "they had the lead a majority of the series", if we use that argument for every series previous champions would be vastly different. If you look at the point differential by quarter, it was almost even.
You gotta admit they gave up a few large leads though.
But it’s true though. Why you no like truth?
27 to 9 don’t mean a thing without the win 😂😂😂
LaFraud constantly got away with mauling Nuggets shooters at the basket. Should have been 9 - 27 but we know how that goes. Any guesses who the NBA commissioners will instruct the ref's to favor next ??
Nuggets and Wolves will be so much fun to wqtch! ❤️ I got Denver in 7
I would love to see Wolves in the final.
You're right, it should be fun. I can't call it since I only came back from a basketball boycott to watch the play-offs to see Jokic and Doncic (and Clark of course). The NBA and players like LeFraud drove me away a long time ago.
Wait... Who cares what Skip Baseless thinks? No one!!!
Skip about to make this all LeBrons fault he should of made 3 out of them two free throws to win the game 😂😂
Should’ve boxed out for sure, and that turnover when Jokic stripped it with lakers up 91-89 only to have kcp hit a 3 was huge
Kobe possessed Murray to exact revenge against LeBron for all the disrespect in a Lakers uniform 😂💯

Lebron and AD can still play. This lakers is not too far away of beating Nuggets. But this is not lebron at age 36 37. It is 39 now.
Denver played like crap, they have no bench and still won 4-1
Not far from beating the nuggets?
Are you stupid?
They lost 10 in a row and 11 of 12 to the Nuggets
They are light years away from competing with Denver.

That challenge by the Lakers shouldn't have been successful since it was a foul on AD
Multiple fouls by AD. Why the f do we have a replay center
It wasn’t a foul though
@@kingdeedeeyes it absolutely was. AD held him down twice and wrapped him with the off hand, then because he held him down was able to get his hand on the ball. He also got away with this in game 1 where he tugged Jokics jersey and got a block because he pulled Jokic back. There were several instances where the Lakers either got ignored while fouling and the Nuggets did not. Including LeBron going to the line late with a foul on KCP dropping the arm across LeBron. However, LeBron got Murray low and hacked across the arm on Murray’s poster, but no and one this time. But, that’s the NBA. Wish officiating was at least consistent though.
lakers coaching staff didnt want to challenge the call at first but ad and bron insisted. they lost their final timeout bcos of that.
It is truly embarrassing how everyone has to move out of LaFraud's way. The NBA commissioners have made it clear that you can't touch the "King". I think it's got to be at least a 6-7 close game series before it can be called a heavyweight game/series the way they did. It was fun but the Lakers didn't show they were a heavyweight challenge. Maybe next year.
No timeout in Denver with the altitude really screwed them, 3 minutes of straight basketball against a team that conditions in these conditions, if nuggets called a timeout it would of just helped the lakers, insanely smart move
Maybe the lakers should try to get home court advantage instead of making more excuses

The Murray shot reminded me of Jordan VS Cavaliers. (The Shot). Epic
They led for 69% of the series. Nice. At least they gave us a nice stat.
Even though I'm a Nuggets fan, I'm also realistic, regardless of who passed, the Lakers or the Nuggets, neither of them can beat this good Minnesota. Minnesota is what the Nuggets were last year. The Nuggets play in a sleepy state, only occasionally waking up.
There are a lot of theories - it will be interesting to see what pans out.
I remember watching Kobe, spurs, bulls; they always seem to be down most of the game or the game was back and forth. Golden state has been the only team that could just run off and not come back.
Can you please compare judge's treatment between Jokic vs Embiid?
Worst coaching EVER ON THE PICK AND ROLL DEFENSE!!
It’s sad how people still set a high standard on year21 player. No one comes to close as of today who has that durability and efficiency.
Reeves gave him way too much space 😭 😭
Something that I have missed in the discussions is the time LBJ took to do that 2 for 1. If he had attacked the basket much faster, the Lakers would have had more time after the last Nuggets attempt
Bro white was on some shii
Just a suggestion for RateGame: Just being able to rate games is a little boring, and doesn't add much to my viewing experience. Being able to rate players would be an interesting feature, and you can see what others thought of their performance beyond the box score.
Rate the ref is what people seem to want.
@@acctsys lol that would be good too
LeBron not answering if he's gonna be a laker next season must make laker fans really happy.
Jokic had zero free throws in game 5 with Anthony Davis and other players holding onto him the entire time. Nuggets beat the Lakers, refs, Adam Silver, and Vegas at the same time 😂
What’s the app name
Not a Bron fan but but will be the first first to admit that I will miss him when he hangs it up. Easily my 3rd best player behind Mike and Kobe.
Vando could have had a better impact on MPJ than Spencer. MPJ was torching the Lakers from the 3pt line the whole series. Rui severely underperformed considering his performance last season. Lebron, AD and Austin played their hearts out. DLo was crazy inconsistent the whole series. Then you have the bench players who have been non-existent. Not forgetting Darvin Ham who failed to manage the challenges and timeouts wisely which costs games 2 and 5.
The Nuggets didn’t play their best basketball either, they just found a way and clutched up when they needed to. Jamal Murray shot less than 40% in 4 out of the five games on 21-24 attempts per game, KCP shot it like hot garbage and the Nuggets bench didn’t do a damn thing. Jokic, MPJ and Gordon all played well but other then them, the Nuggets didn’t play well either.
"decent" support by Austin Reaves, making almost all the clutch shots
I imagine this is how Lakers opponents felt like when Kobe was hitting game winners on them. Damn.
Lakers coach got the best AD. You to contest your foul Bishh in the final 3mins Foo. Let's go.
Bro so quick to hate on Bron
a successful challenge should get your team a timeout back. that's just punishing a team for the refs screwing up

The title should be ‘The moment Lebron realises he is not the GOAT’
Gordon outrebounded the king for that Murray 3 point shot?
didn't LRJ state that he did not like the 2 for 1? but here is leading the 2 for 1
Lebron either leave the game early or dont shake hands his opponents everytime he loses the game
You dudes jot down notes about every little thing he does. A lot of people do that. It’s not that big of a deal.
LeBron and AD vs Nuggets + DLO 😂
If youre not surprised about derrick white going off in game 4, you dont watch enough celtics basketball. He is a big key to the celtics success this season along porzingis and jrue.

Jokic so addicted to hourse racing and making it as an example in a playoff game

Check Jokic did to Davis in 9.5secs in clock, is it good or a foul?
Rui doesnt have a heart of a samurai. Should have doubled Jamal on that last Denver possesion.
This 4-1 honestly doesn't reflect the value between Denver and LA. But front office of Lakers should have done a better job after last year's elimination (many close games in that series too, and Denver was better than now).
I don't see Denver defending the title.
btw Jokic is leading the playoffs in points, rebounds, assists and win shares. first player in history to do it last year and he's doing it AGAIN
I know the game was tied but it might have been better to just foul twice by the lakers to have more time when they got the ball back. They should also have attached faster on their 2 for 1 opportunity.
I feel like Lebrons final years are being WASTED. Ham isn’t experienced enough to be a solid coach. Injuries plaguing the team. And role players not stepping up at times.
I feel like he could have had at least one more chip by now if the last few years weren’t wasted.
