- Siblings. They can be quite the bother. But they’re also tremendously good fun down an empty airstrip. Wait, what? Welcome to our debut episode of Signal 2 Signal (because it’s two cars against each other…get it?), where there’s a bit of sibling rivalry brewing between the Kia Sonet and the Hyundai Venue. To make things interesting, one’s got an iMT, and the other’s got a DCT. Bragging rights are on offer for the first ones to cross the line a little way down the vast airstrip. Rohan and Raunak are behind the wheel. Fun? Oh, we wish you could have been there while we filmed this. Its the transmission that's different.. engines were the same
dct is slower than imt and imt is slower than mt.. so what's the point of comparing different gearboxes of different cars?

A bit strange results if you compare results from drag race between Kia sonet vs Honda City. Sonet did 0-100 in 12.05, 11.75 n 11.91 seconds where as in this video it's 13.85 n 13.05 seconds?? It's same 120 hp 7 speed dct model , right?

just got the DCT venue with paddle shifters. First servicing to go so yet to cross 80. Wonder what the DCT vs DCT contest be like? but the turbo is pretty sweet. But I won't be surprised if XUV 300 will smoke them both. Wish it had a bigger boot. Wonder what the DCT vs DCT contest be like?

i have to say Venue's turbo pickup is really nice. test drove both and Venue defo feels more racecar like than its own N line
I own a Venue IMT and it goes fast,....until I hit the other traffic light after 200 meters and I see the metro above me going faster.
Ha ha ha..... Ha ha..... just like somebody from the vdo, but you tried harderr.... ROFL
and that's why I love my freestyle diesel, does 0- 100 in under 11 seconds all the time.
The driver makes all the difference!
To prove it wrong, you would have to try switching the cars in the upcoming segments.

With a 0-100 of 13.85 seconds, sonet won against city ivtec which can do 0-100 on close to 10.2 seconds!! What ru guys upto?
Launch DCT or TC in NORMAL MODE( NOT SPORTS)..... THEN QUICKLY SWITCH TO SPORTS MODE. it will launch like an F1.

One barbecue sandwich ain't gonna negate that karma 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Superb video, liked it. Don't want to name the series but as I had posted my request to PowerDrift on 5-6 episodes earlier, the episodes are almost getting there in the way we all want them to be, in the series specific mode with lots of variance . Both have the same engine and tuning, so I don't think it will make much of a difference.

In the 1st round he didn't build up boost in the venue, it was just slamming the accelerator at ...1 and shifting also might've been slow 🤦🏻♂️
May be the dct shifting gears too quickly that the car never reaches redline.😁😁
