Were dairy farmers in Ontario, i remember about 5-10 years ago we would get $65-100. For a week old bull calf.. Last week we got over $700 for a week old! Thats crazy. And these are holsteins. Not beef breeds. I have heard if there crossed with angus there going closer to 900. Now the big problem is how are dairy farmers going ro buy replacement cows? And afford it. Bc i know so many ppl are breeding to beef bc the price is so good. And its next to impossible here to find replacements. Crazy cycle were in now

And there is not the expect flood of import beef that usually forces prices back down
