I was happy to travel from Morocco to Tunisia and Tunisia became country #67 during my travel journey but I was shocked when the immigration officers locked me in the airport when they saw my birthplace is Pakistan. I will share the whole story in another video which is a lesson in my life.

Assalam-o-Alaikum...I'm so sorry you had a bad immigration experience in Tunisia. With an Australian passport, I visited Tunisia back in 2018, and my experience was quite different from yours. I can attest that even though I am both Pakistani and Australian, everyone was initially unfriendly and stiff until they saw my passport. It's a learning experience, so never give up on what you love. Continue the wonderful work,

Sorry what happened to you, I went to Tunisia for holidays and no problem what so ever.
I think he meant the controls that happened in the airport the country itself is good food locals traditions and culture. I think some people just because something happened to them then they would blame everything about that country, everyone has different experiences maybe he is one of that people that just because something bad happened in that country then they would assemble every thing about that country(from people to culture), unlike you I'm sure that the airport control was very hard on you but u kept an open minded and enjoyed the country.

I travelled on british passport and got hassled for 6 hours until i contacted british embassy.

Yes brother, Tunisian immigration personnel treat the transit passengers in a bad way. It happened to one Indian Traveller also when he was getting transit via Tunisia. Worst immigration in Tunisia.
Yeah guess what it happens to also us tunisians who live outside the country. Tunisian police(the personnel don't do nothing) is very difficult we Tunisians stay for hours both at the airport and in the port, we are checked from head to toe and our suitcases are emptied and our cars the same. Our system is very difficult, we have to declare a lot of things. but this does not mean that in itself as a country it is bad we have beautiful places and good food it is only the judicial things that annoy.

Egypt and Tunisia both are bad. Morocco, however, is very welcoming both through immigration and people in general.
Worse county for asian people boy....we are treated the same and we are the citizens of the country many Asians actually come to Tunisia and not only east Asians there are many videos, our police is very difficult but that doesn't mean that the country itself is bad only the airport and its police which we call dogana or douane beacuse they will search u up from head to toe and empty all of your suitcase for control, even Europeans get treated the same in our airport don't worry but once you get out of the airport you can go to many historical and culture places and you will meet the locals. Every country has its flaws and in Tunisia once of them is the airport and the douane which are more difficult than the American or Italian one.

We too get Turkish passport by CBI Program to travel easily but surprised to know that we are not eligible even for US Diversity visa Green Card as our place of birth is Sargodha-Pakistan which we may never change!
