My mother is a descendant of the Huron (Wendat) people and my father was Bnei Anousim. Its an interesting experience rediscovering and weaving both of those identities into one philosophy.
Rebuilding my relationship with Hashem and the Jewish people has been so eye-opening. Its changed my entire perspective of history, spirituality, and the state of modernity.
I have two homes in my heart. USA and Eretz Yisrael. The lands given to A'taentsik and to Abraham for all their children and children's children to call home. Both their children went through exile and into diaspora, and eventually they both found love among the Europeans. Through those weaving bloodlines, Hashem made me, and blessed me with the ability to learn about and cherish a very rich heritage.
We all share One creator who is One. Not just a One as in the singular. But the One that encompasses All. Through so many different stories like this one, people are connected world-wide in ways that would shock their understandings of self.
Israel must never fall. It must never accept status quo or surrender to Hamas. What they do isn't just abominable to the people they are supposed to protect, its not just the crimes against Israel. What they are is abominable and a crime against Hashem. Against God. The horrors they do in His name He will strike them for.
What Hamas are? They are Moloch. They are the ones who would sacrifice on an altar of death Israeli children, Palestinian children, their own children, and eventually mine too. If I had a home and a wife to raise them with, I would gladly take care of one of those children suffering in Gaza. I do not hate them. Neither do the Israelis. And im so tired of the slander and the libel and no one being held accountable.
I think about how change will actually come to pass and who is going to take the responsibility at the end of the day. And its going to be Palestinians and Israelis. Not because of global pressures but because they know it will be the right thing to do. Because we are all hurt. And we are all tired. And we all just want to be able to go home. When Hamas is vanquished I hope we will all continue to pray for peace. Not just during the conflict. We all must do our small parts to secure a future for all the Sons and Daughters of Abraham in his Promised Land. Eretz Yisrael.

I was unaware of the connection between Sephardic Jews and the indigenous people of Puerto Rico and equally surprised by the similarity of beliefs and practices between the Jews and the Cherokee. Simply amazing.

Wonderful video! I've always felt a strong bond to other indigenous people, such as the tribes in America, and the Circassians, and the Kurds, and so. So many different people who are longing for their homelands or to be able to rebuild their nations.
