Makes sense as Cosby was one of the 3 influences of King Richard. The other 2 being Redd Foxx & Dick Gregory. While Pryor change up his material & language, he keep the masterful storytelling he'd observed from Cosby in the mid-60s.

In late 2004 his sister said he had lost his voice as a result of his multiple sclerosis.
