Travelling on them is like a trip to the past!! Those vintage electric trains are closely related to the Soviet "Elektrichka" units, you can see them in Bulgaria too, as class 32.
Yes I had a ride on one of them, to Veliko Tarnovo. I loved it. Such a nice sound as well :)
