I'm African, Bovril is delicious when consumed correctly. It is highly powerful, you are supposed to put a small pinch of it on bread not down it like papa did. I am surprised he is still alive.

It used to be consumed a lot in the UK as a drink (with hot water almost like tea). Maybe not so much nowdays but when I was younger my grandpa would take me to watch football and would bring some in a flask, it was actually really good especially during the winter when it's cold...
