Thanks for doing this....You are a hero....And a hero deserves a 5% finders fee $50 bucks, they wanted $500 labor and $500 parts est $1200 out the door.....I did it myself for $375....it took me 7hrs....I never would have attempted it without your expertise/encouragement and the great videos.

The nice thing about the engine bay of this truck is you can work on it without moving too many parts to make room

I had that problem with that "T" connection. They sell that piece new at the auto store for 10$ and it metal so it doesn't crack

I pine for the days when you could actually see the water pump, and get to it with out having to take the stereo out first..... ;-)

    I have a question
Why are you putting green antifreeze in it and not the orange dex cool?

A nice easy job Dave...Our LS's are even easier 'cos they don't have a fan on them.

Nice thorough job DW. I have a set of cheap wrenches I bought just for beating on with a hammer to release the fans.
1 7/8" I think is the one for that unit. How much did you get that 100 # cylinder for? I have 2 right now I need to replace that the base has rusted out, and can't be recertified any longer.

TSC doesn't fill them there? The ones I go to do, usually the cheapest price per gallon around too.
$2.24 a gallon last time, but they do seem to go up in the winter.

ours does but they had a permit issue (New store) so i give them a week or so if not i'll run down the road to the other TSC ..

Last year I got 2,000 gallons @ $1.75 at the farm. I have a liquid line tap so I can fill my bottles and the fork lift but I'm scared to spend the extra money this year with everything else going on.

Heating a garage has nothing to do with changing out a water pump...its amazing how all these guys can't stay on a subject...ADD its finest...otherwise very informative.
