I loved this segment. Truth on every word he said today. It’s amazing how far the thinking of the fathers of the nation got. Almost 250 years later those words are as powerful as they were in 1776. These were men with the longest vision of all times.

Dear FOXBusiness. I’m very happy that you’re educating everybody about the declaration of independence. As you describe the president is unfit to be our chief and commander. Therefore I believe the people should petition for him to be impeached. As a disabled veteran I’ve defended the constitution and what it means and therefore since the president is failing to believe in the people, then it’s time to impeach him. As an outsider I can say he’s wrong, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution are far more important than the Declaration of Independence, but it’s certainly not the most important document in the world. There are many more important ones, The Magna Carta for one, without which the other three probably couldn’t exist. The US education system really lets you down.

Not for us Americans. That is because the heart of the document embodies an ideal, a vision, and the culmination of 3 millennia of political/ social advancement in Western Civilization. Indeed, it certainly followed precedence, no argument there. But this document (et al), is a gem, a rarity. Historical events are judged by their impact, their influence, their power to change the course of history. This one formed a great nation, encapsulated the best ideals forged by men who knew history, and literally change this entire world. A document that would have left the Greeks envious and the Romans in awe. All the founding US documents make up what is the body we call America, but this is the heart of that body. Men live and die from within. Just my opinion.
