After communicating online and finding them using the internet, the realtor and the buyers meet. This episode featured an Australian woman of Greek descent looking for a home investment on the Greek island of Mytilini. Prospective buyer, Helen Robinson, brought along her new American friend, Marlene Kazanis, to help with the house hunting experience. Looking for an escape from her hard work schedule on a 53,000-acre cattle station back home, Helen found a local property agent using the real estate website dedicated to the Greek property market, Greek Property Exchange. Featured in this episode is professional realtor, Dimitra Balkizas, of Hibiscus Ventures Real Estate. Working with Helen's wish list of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sea views and a budget of € 250,000, Dimitra lined up 3 homes in the South-West part of Mitilini in the towns of Polichnitos, Vrissa and Vatera. After recapping with her realtor, Aggeliki Santi (lawyer) and Kostas Frangopoulos (civil engineer), Helen was able to review her options with her friend Marlene to make a decision. Helen selected a home that met her requirements and fell within her budget -- making Hellenic Home Hunting a positive experience for her. Hellenic Home Hunting is a half-hour documentary-style show featuring Greek real estate agents and their foreign home-buying clients as they hunt for investment properties in Greece (Hellas). In addition to featuring real estate from Greece, the new TV series aims to showcase the individual stories of the buyers while promoting the beauty of Greece, its culture and various regions throughout the country. The show is considered the first of its kind to feature Greek property through an innovative approach that also promotes tourism and investment.

Nice lady but would you buy a house that takes you 72hrs to get there?
It does sounds far... but if it's a magical vacation house you visit once a year, worth considering.
@@stroumboulis yes, good investment if you stay for minimum 2 months.
From Australia, especially away from the major cities, it takes a long time to go anywhere even within the country.
