He won a spot on Glee, from the show called "The Glee Project" I think.
Technically, during the first season of The Glee project, he TIED for 1st place with Damien McGinty, who plays Rory Flanagan in Glee. Lindsay Pearce (Harmony aka “the Gerber baby”) and Alex Newell (Wade “Unique” Adams) both tied as runner-ups. Originally Sam and Damien were supposed to only have a “7 episode story arch” each, and Lindsay and Alex would have 2 each. Sam, Damien, and Alex all stayed past their “promised episodes;” Lindsay was the only one who just did her promised two episodes. Fans LOVED Alex so much, they made them a series regular later on.. 👍🏻
They made a point of not doing that after seaspn 2 of the Glee Project. Only 1 other person got a part but it was one episode, and a very small part.

dude, my advice - don't even try to figure out the relationships or who was in what performance, the show has 6 seasons of amazing performance but over time cast changed a lot, some people are in, some are out... and the drama of it all - really, it's not worth it

the dude with dreads is joe (the character), actor's name is samuel larsen
fun fact! he actually won the glee project (tv show where they searched for new actors) and appeared only in 3rd and 4th seasons, and while the character was highly underdeveloped, i liked his voice a lot and still follow his musical career

basically to explain shortly someone complained about santana( naya rivera ) and her girlfriend brittany kissing in the hallway in the school and was upset about that which is also why she said you should be with whoever you want whenever you want

This guy singing was a guest character in season 3 sadly its like the only song where he is really singing if you want songs from early season 1 let us know and yes rip naya 💔😕
He was in seasons 3 and 4.
The person that said just listen to the songs because you’ll have a hard time keeping up with everything unless you start with the first episode and move forward and that could take years, however there are many great performances
