I am in my season for change and it's so hard but like you said it takes the same amount of energy to stay stuck. I just want to become what God has visioned for me because I know it surpasses my understanding. I'm motivated to put it in the work and let God in to be there with me. This is the best sermon I’ve heard in soooo long! Wow
I'm sorry, but if this is the best "sermon" youve ever heard then you need to find some good pastors who will actualy teach you the gospel! Shes a motivational speaker but she is NOT a pastor/ preacher.
She did not mention the gospel once. She didnt mention sin and repentance once - in ANY of her "sermons". These kind of speakers will go out of their way to avoid speaking about sin. And our desperste NEED for Jesus Christ - our Saviour and God
If a non Christian heard this they would have no idea how to to be saved.
All these speakers do is talk about "are you who you hoped youd be. Are you where you want to be" etc etc. About how to "get out of your feelings and into the healing."
Its ALL about what Jesus can do for YOU, how Jesus can make YOUR life better, how YOU can be happier, wealthier, etc.
But they NEVER EVER EVER talk about the how we need to make Jesus the Lord of our life. That we surrender every part of our lives to God.
You will never ever hear that
But the first thing Jesus said to His disciples was "follow me" to "take up your cross and follow me".
We are NOT promised a perfect life. Quite the opposite in fact. The Bible promises that we will face persecution. And that the world hated Jesus first and will hate us too. That we need to seperate ourselves from the world. That we should not desire things of the world but desire the things of the Kingdom of God.
God wants a relationship with you. A love relationship!
These are not preachers. They dont care about your soul and spiritual journey or relationship with God
We are not promised beautiful lives on earth and will experience pain and hardship. Yes, there is soooo much JOY in knowing the Lord, and He WILL get you through those difficult times. He wants to walk with you through life on earth. Cling to Him! But we ARE promised the love of God which surpasses all understanding. We are promised an eternity spent in the presence of God, where is love, mercy, righteousness will rule forever and ever. All tears will be wiped from our eyes and we will experience joy that we cannot comprehend. But that is later.
We live in a world corrupted by sin, where the enemy is the prince of this world. And we have to navigate that with the Lords help. And He already has the victory! When he died on the cross He defeated and had victory over sin and death forver. And now we are waiting for when He returns to bring the New Heaven and New Earth and sets everhthing right. He will make everything a new creation when He comes again.
******We just need to place our trust in Him and know Jesus died on the cross, was raised in the 3rd day, and is coming again. Jesus is our Lord and Savior and we need to have faithin Him, confess Him as Lord. We need to repent, take up our cross and follow Him!
That is the gospel!
But you will NEVER EVER hear that from these people.
You need to find a good Bible believing church, who will preach the whole bible, and teach the gospel. They wont hide the truth that you need to repent. That we are sinners in need of a Saviour.
Then you will actually hear a good sermon that could actually change your life and save your soul!
Try listening to Paul Washer, Vodie Baughman, John Mcarthur and many many others. They are real pastors who will bring you tears with their messages about God. They will teach your the gospel and what a life knowing and loving Christ truly is.
Pastor Mike Winger (Bible Thinker) is another amazing teacher. He has a lot of sermons in Playlists on his channel where he actually walks you through books of the Bible, verse by verse (you know, how the Bible should be taught). But he also has a series called "20 questions" where he answers questions about the Bible and Christianity. But you learn a LOT. And knowing the Word of God will bring you into a deeper relationship with him
This is so surface level motivational speaking but NOT preaching. This is NOT thr gospel. I pray you will learn what the gospel truly is and how to have a deep relationship with God through learning the truth
