Looks like just what I need to help me refine my cup cutting skills, but can't hear the tutorial for the loud music. So, I'm watching and "reading between the lines". Thank you for sharing your expertise.
This is brilliant. Following an accident in which I’ve suffered spinal injuries, my hands won’t function well enough to use nippers. I have used a Dremel and this is restoring my hope of being “crafty” again. Thank you so much.
I wish you would have kept the music lower than your voice. I missed a good bit. What wheel do you use in the Dremel? What speed? Those are important for me to know before I break another 5 cups😊
:) always use safety glasses or mask, if your unsure of debris, and/or a mask if your worried about the dust made from your cutting tools (I also enjoy the dremel tool for these great small delicate jobs
thank you thank you! i'm trying to make a top with a teacup bralette (just to satisfy my creative curiosity) but i was stumped on how i was going to get a teacup in half
Its definitely whatever you prefer...I was cutting my cups with wheel nippers, but you certainly run the risk of it going all crooked and losing many cups before actually getting a cup you can use....Using the Dremel I have never lost a cup.......This is just a demo, Its definitely do it however you want to do it....and what makes you happy.
Thank you for putting this video together. Mentioning of the tool used would be helpful. So many cutting discs 😂

The music is so loud one cannot hear the tutorial!
Safety glasses, dust mask and protective gloves in case the dremel slips!
EXCELLENT little tutorial...thanks!!
I've just ordered a Dremel and I'm looking forward to experimenting! Thanks for sharing your skills. Much appreciated 😊

Thanks. You are very brave with all those sparks flying about. I might ask my husband to cut some for me.

Wonderful. Thank you so much Christine. :-)

Music VERY ANNOYING. Could not understand what tool this was. Could see pieces of sharp porcelain fly out
I cannot get the Dremel to cut through cups! Help, I bought a new Dremel and I'm so frustrated!!!!!!!
are you using the diamond wheel?
Great video, but your music is way too loud.
for me its not loud enough. LOL

When you said grind the edges afterward did you mean with the tool or with your stained glass grinder?
Thank you!
What tools are you using? When did you buy it? Thank you
Brilliant vid. Couldn’t hear you over music though!
I'm making this comment for this reason exactly
Hi, i just tried using the dremel and cutter today. I got scared when i saw the sparks. What is the exact blade you use to cut?
That blade and your bare hands looks terrifying 😮
Do you have any advice for cutting a coffee cup in half with nippers instead of a dremel tool?
czcams.com/video/cnyaYiPpA-A/video.html - Treasury Road great site.
Hi, I am new to dremmel. Can you please let us know the exact blade you used to cut. Is it the diamond cutter
How long does it take you to cut a cup?
What's this cutter please?
The music is so so loud!!
Can you pls let me know the blade u r using...
Where can I buy a cutter like that - I live in cyprus!
Wow not sure, but I get mine from Hardware/Building supply store.
Or failing that, I am sure you could obtain one through online stores.
A dremel is technically called a rotary tool, there are many like it.
My question is how to measure the cup?
8 ounces
How can do that but not realise how deafening the music is? You’re barely audible.
It looks time consuming and there's more work to follow. I cut my cups with wheeled nippers and tidy up from there. Much faster in my experience.

The unnecessary music is SO LOUD that I cannot hear anything you say.
That loud annoying music was too distracting.
