When she's doing an exhibition all around France in the 90' i was very lucky to see her. I remember the day she came in my gymnastics club when i was young. I was 8 or 9 years and she makes an autograph on her book. I have this book know on my house and i was 35 years old. With all my friends, we don't believed it. She was gorgeous, kind ans very talented. She was my idol.

Bogi had a variety of tumbling in her career from what I remember. She threw an double arabian at a meet in 95 when she announced her comeback, then swapped it out for the full-in. She had a double double at a couple meets in 87, IIRC.
I wonder if after all the years of gymnastics-especially the landings during the vaults/dismounts have taken a toll on Ms. Boginskaya's joints-especially her knees/hips/back
When ice skating and gymnastics was marketable. Ice skating had many stars but gymnastics only had Svetlana B. and Svetlana K. No one else wasn't marketable. I'm sorry. They were great athletes but not really marketable. It was always weird to hear other female gymnast talk besides the two Svetlanas and hear them with baby voices
