  • I’m KP, and this is how I fixed my 2010 Jeep Wrangler.
    3.8 Automatic 4x4.
    59,000 miles, 1 owner.
Red lightning bolt, limp mode, misfire, and electrical issues. Not click hate, it’s actually fixed and did not require check engine light reset.

At this point I have no idea if the issue is the torque converter

So would it intermittent going to limp mode like when and stop and go traffic and coasting to stop? That's the issues I'm having with mine. No lightning bolt

Yes it did that to us, we had to drive it home
      At 20 mph,
For about 25 miles. It was a nightmare. I’m not sure why yours isn’t showing the lightning bolt.

Did you just get an aftermarket throttle body?

Kinda, new part and did the throttle pedal code, after the battery drain and hard computer reset. The pedal code was the issue I think, been a minute since I filmed that.

I’m getting camshaft sensor codes, I replaced the seal that was broke but 1 month later it’s back. Can’t figure it out.

@@robjenstreet I had another Jeep doing that, I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it fixed; however it took multiple sensors to fix it. Seems most of the part store brands are junk. I used Denso, and got it finally.
What year is your Jk? Engine and transmission

@@fellowshipandcars2327 2012 Jku 3.6 pentastar. It gave the camshaft sensor code. Replaced it with molar. Found the seal leaking so I put new one in and it’s back. And stuck in limp mode now

@@robjenstreetif your still having issues. Check the wiring going into the sensor. Especially if it’s bank 2 driver side. I have seen more of those broken wires than I can remember. Usually the blue wire also for some reason.
