From my point of view at 4:45 There are 2 weir on the left side (on the top and the bottom) the water will fall from the top left, im gonna assume the bottom weir is for deep sand bed filtration or blowing out the detritus trapped in the 1st section or it's for a mini refugium so the copepods can go out from the weir at the bottom (just need to put a grow light on the 1st baffle. He also put 2 mini glasses at 7:14 on the top left near the weir. I'm gonna assume that's for filter sock holder. 2nd section will be for bio filtration, and the 3rd section on the far right is for return pump because there's only a hole on the top right. To be honest, this is a really nice back sump design. The width of the tank is 50 cm, and there are 3 baffles, so each baffle is about 15 centimeters wide. It's still wide enough for our hand to go inside and vacuum the detritus build maybe once or twice a year. It's gonna be perfect if there's a protein skimmer section though lol
Put up an announcement that the initial position of the glass cutting with plexiglass is incorrect. Was it intentionally done wrong?

Подскажите, зачем стяжку около сампа? Ведь самп сам практически как стяжка и ребро жесткости вместе взятые. Не лучше ли было бы поставить на середине свободного пространства аквариума?

10 mm and 8 mm for sump..
You use silicon like no-one else! Heck no masking tapes either and all seams clean as F***. All the best! It will take years to master this way. I prefer injection method.

It looks very nice, but let's see how practical it is. I made one exactly like this and it seems you have a few disastrous mistakes.
1. What does the first compartment of the sump represent? Nothing ?
2. How do you remove the sponge from the second compartment of the sump? I see you put top, two small pieces of glass... Those are USELESS... and they mess up badly, plus you also put the long bar, along the entire length of the tank, and that comes over it...
3. How do you clean the sump in first 2 compartiments ? It's impossible.
4. The first small slots are water loading slots... Why are the slits on the bottom right so low, on acrilic panel ? Don't you have substrate? If yes, how many millimeters?)))) Put centimeters, maybe 7-9 cm of substrate, What do you do when all the substrate goes into the sump?
In fact, the question is, are the slots on the bottom right on acrilic panel, under the substrate? Why ? I don't understand the logic..

Sump'ın ilk bölmesi işe yaramaz. İkinci sump'ı temizlemek zor. Alt yarıklardan önce bir tel ağ koydum, çünkü tüm balıkları ilk bölmede buluyordum. Aynı şey üst yarıklar için de geçerli.
