I have to say thank you a-ah all you beautiful 3 men for coming back to melb aust & bringing back memories of that amazing era of the 80’s. I was 25yrs old in 1985 & was obsessed with your group. I followed your band around in many countries to see you perform. Morten you have a beautiful soul even more as you grow older it shows in the lyrics of your songs. Seeing you perform now in our older yrs it seems like it was y’day when we were young & wild, but at times it also it seems so long ago. You bought me back to a realistic journey of great times & songs & your pictures all over my wall. Now my walls of you are empty but in my mind they pictures are here forever. The beauty of your songs is that not only are they about love but also so poetic & imaginative. The only wish I could of wanted was to meet you & hug you to thank you of all the excitement
To add more you bought me back some more happiness out of depression just starting to listen to your songs again & dream of the times in our younger years. Thank you ever so much & the journey we travelled together although I was just a fan listening to a beautiful voice & seeing a beautiful soul sing
That was a lovely comment. I adore a-ha. I'm a mega fan. To be able to go to a concert would simply blow my mind. You're so lucky to be able to say you have been in the same room as them! I absolutely adore all three of them. There is def something different about Morten. I have Asperger's Syndrome and Morten has, quite often, over the years, displayed lots of behaviours as someone on the spectrum. I'm not doctor and I'm in no way saying he has it, I'm just saying that I really understand his behaviours both on and off stage and I love him even more for it, as I totally get how hard it is to just get by sometimes, in a world that is catered for 'other people'. I still have a massive 'crush' on Morten, and Magne now aswell.
Spewing I missed this concert. Didnt even know they came. Most definitely would have went. A big fan of them in the 80s along with Pseudo Echo. I remember them fighting over the number one spot in the charts with The Sun always shines on tv & Love an adventure. They kept on booting each other off number 1 - it was changing daily. Now I think Sun always shines on tv is a much more professional & better track. Wasnt there back stage passes to fulfill the hugs?
@falconeranatolia me too :( I got reacquainted with A-Ha's music during lockdown, got excited when I looked them up to find out they were touring...only to find they had completed the Australian/NZ leg of their tour prior to lockdown :'( I didn't hear about their tour through local media either - Covid-19 was starting to dominate the news around that time :(

He's been behaving like that on stage for almost 40 years...lol Morten was 60 years old on this show, as well as being extremely shy. However, he always sang and enchanted his fans with his voice (and with his beauty too...lol). He never needed to dance...lol

I was 11 years old in 1985!! This song and their entire album was Beautiful!! And I have to say they sound incredible till today.
