How to use LAUNCH CONTROL in a G80 M3 | G82 M4

Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're going to teach you how to use Launch Control in your BMW G80 M3 or G82 M4! Before you start doing launch control, you NEED to do your 1200 mile break in service at your dealer!
Here's what to do:
- First, put your car in DSC OFF mode, by pressing and holding the DSC button for approximately 5 seconds.
- Next, put your Drive Logic (little button on your gear selector) to level 3
- Last, put your car in Manual mode and start in 1st gear for xdrive or 2nd gear for RWD
- Press and hold your brake firmly with your left foot and then press down all the way on your accelerator with your right until you feel the button press in.
- At this time, it will say something like "preparing launch control". If it doesn't, YOU'RE NOT IN LAUNCH CONTROL MODE. After a few seconds, it will say that launch control is active and at this time, simply let off your brake and off you go! While in Launch Control mode, your car will automatically shift for you (in an automatic, obviously)

Great Times... 3.3 to 60 is crazy.....best I could get was 3.79 with RWD.

The G8X M2 button, is setup, mostly to be able to do this from the factory. The only thing I had to change, was going into the settings, and putting the shift logic into 3, and turn DSC off. Now M2 is setup for launch control.

Car looks fantastic ! I almost got IOMG - great color. Agree on the tires. My car isn’t slipping much on most launches with the factory Pirelli’s, but I still would much rather have had the Michelins.

Niiiiiice! You guys have great content! I'm curious, What would you lower the PSI to on the tires? And would you just do lower the pressure on the fronts, the backs or all four?
Cool vid boss, why not just configure M2 on the wheel to reflect Drive logic 3, sport mode and DCS off. This would essentially be the quickest way to get in to these modes.

i noticed that the car was set to 4wd sport +. Do you think thats the best setting for launching or have you tried the other settings with launch.
I have a 430i non m-package and it's a 2021. Does it come with a launch control?
Have you done a comparison between the f80 and g80 yet?
Can you adjust the launch rpm limit like the F8x M3/4?
Manual non-comp: Sport plus, MDM, 1st gear, clutch in, and accelerator to the floor. You'll be limited to 3500 rpm

What’s up my brother love the content I had a m4comp 2022 but it was 2 wheel drive they didn’t have the xdrive at the time but I got into a crazy accident and totaled the car the same week I got it yeah so those 5 months waiting was for nothing 😭 but I got the m3 comp now xdrive but I saw in one of your videos that u can make the car a 2 wheele drive by hittin the m2 button i belive I’m not sure but plz I would like too talk to u for 2 min cause I don’t wanna almost die again 😂
Try 4wd mode over 4wd sport for launch control it will be faster. 4wd sport causes slip.
You can't launch back to back correct have to drive a couple miles between launches?
