How's the Hercules Brushless 20V Impact Driver after 5 months?

- Five months ago, I uploaded my first video unboxing this brushless 20V impact driver from Hercules. Since then, it has been through various projects. These projects include installing a retractable air hose reel, power cable, and two bicycle lifts on the ceiling of my garage. I've also used it to install an exterior outlet to power my pond and the Govee Outdoor Pathway lights. But how does it hold up after 5 months of ownership?

That new Hercules is younger and more powerful than alot of big well known tools and a super sexy dirt low nasty price tag! I’m super tempted to buy it even though my Milwaukee is working just fine . I have to steer clear of the Hercules isles next time I go to the freight I already have a hard on for that Hercules and if I see it in person I’ll lose self control and buy it and go back home dim the lights and light some scented candles and put some rose petals on the bed and have my way with it
They make an adapter for Milwaukee batteries to work with Hercules tools.
I've had mines for about 6 months and have used it for different applications such as automotive, electrical, hvac, and carpentry usage. Has been holding strong, and due to its performance and price points (also, kinda hard to pass on their warranty) I purchased both the drill and hammer drill, 1/ 2 in ultra torque wrench, portable fan, and the 2gal wet/dry vac. Can't wait for their lineup to grow because I'm now invested into the hercules brand. I also own Milwaukee, and frankly from what I've seen, they go toe to toe with each other.
That’s awesome! I’m really hoping they’ll come out with brushless electric ratchets as I’ve been waiting for those for months. Other than that I’m also pretty invested in their lineup as well.
Just curious- why buy the drill and hammer drill? Aren’t they the same except for the addition of selectable hammer function?
Nice review, I will use a impact driver to reduce screw stripping or using it to unscrew a stubborn screw. Thank you
I dig it, I wondered how it would hold up. I'm glad I didn't go for Ryobi now!
I was once in your shoes too.
Great video! I was wondering how these were.
Excellent Job my friend. I already have this impact so I won’t enter the drawing. I want others to experience the quality and power of this tool!
Ive had to warranty mine twice… everyday use as a union tin knocker… love it when it works… power is second to none… but something breaks up front and it impacts whennits not supposed to and get incredibly hot… will hold up to non daily metal screw use
3 months so far. Flawless. Now, I'm a DIY type. So no "rough" everyday trade work. Thus, for DIY, it's second to none. Now if I was in the trade I can't say that it would replace the Red/Yellow toys (although I'll take Hercules before the Snap On any day of the week).
That thing is spotless a used tool gets beat up
Is the battery supposed to fit loos wobbly cause mi e doesnt feel like it locks in compared to my oscillating too fits nice and tight same battery..
This 1/4 impact and the drill are the best on the market right now.
Ridgid, milwaukee and fkex are all stronger impacts but this is 4th best
@@WHATDATTOOLDO right but you could pay for the herc impact AND drill for the price of a single milwaukee, which is its big selling point and a powerful one at that since they have a small gap performance wise.
@edwardoavila7666 i agree but people sleep on the ridgid with a lifetime service agreement free batteries and tool service for life for not much more than the hurc uf you pay attention to the sales which come up a few times a month
If the tool works for you and you like it - enjoy it
u guys think the milwaukee m18 gen 4 is better?
I have the impact driver but now looking at getting the hammer drill/driver for when i find myself havving to drill holes, the Jacobs chuck will work better holding drill bits than the hex collet unless theres some attachment im unaware of.
Good video. Sub'd.
Mine keeps stopping while driving screws, anybody else having this problem? Haven’t had it very long nor have I abused it.
Maybe just a defective unit or wrong speeds?
Maybe u have it on A it stops
Mine blinks sometimes when I pull the trigger
4 months later.... doesnt have a single scratch on it lol
Don't buy it with the battery included, they have a deal buy a 5ah battery and charger for 99 dollars and get a free tool
He drove 20 screws with it 🤣 hardly 5 months usage that would be 5 minutes usage on the job site
