914 total votes is amazing! Such a great idea and project! All worthy cards! ⚾️
Hi Ray. Very cool. Happy to see the Brooks Robinson rookie make the cut.
Thanks for doing this-- lots of fun and awesome to see the two best pitchers of all time, Satch and the Big Train, go in together with sweet cards!
Thank you much for an awesome presentation and congrats to all that participated and engaged in the balloting! A very awesome group and thanks Ray for all that you did and do bringing joy to the hobby experience. Keep it going and see you next year!
thank you joe. I appreciate it. especially from a fellow philadelphian.
The Greatest Left Handed pitcher of all time rookie card came in 35th place. Utterly mindblowing. 😳
This is a tremendous thing you do for the hobby every year, and you deserve our kudos and our thanks.
thanks Dan I really appreciate that.
This was awesome! Another great selection. I'm glad the satchel page made it on this year's list.
This was so much fun to vote and hear everyone else’s thoughts. Congrats on another year of this Ray and thanks for putting this together for us
A fun series, and some great cards not only elected, but nominated as well. Thanks Ray for doing so much work on such a fun project. I hope you continue on with this for many years to come.
Thanks for running this Ray! Fun every year. Looks like vintage voters dominated this time around
Thanks Josh. yes they did
This is such a neat project you did. My first year aware of this and first year voting.
Just a great production Ray!!!! Well done sir! Thank you for all of your efforts. Truly enjoyable ! Great list being inducted
Ray, truly awesome! I absolutely love this card HOF! Thank you so much! 1941 Play Ball Ted Williams gets voted in! WOOHOO! 😊👊
Thanks adam. I appreciate your support.
This was great, Ray. Thanks for your leadership on this. I did my first ballot this year but didn't a video about it (I should have!). Loved seeing the Paige and the Play Ball Williams at 1-2 -- solid consensus there.
Thanks. I appreciate it. Yep the paige and williams are awesome cards.
Thanks for doing this, Ray. Cool stuff!
Great stuff Ray! I wish Jake would consider this format for the YTSCHOF balloting for channels.
Excellent work as usual putting this together Ray. Thanks for your hard work.
My favorites were the O-Pee-Chee Tony Gwynn and the Hank Greenberg.
Great stuff, Ray! Thanks for doing this!
I have to commend the voters. Great list!
Excellent work! Was especially rooting for the Reggie auto.
thank you. That reggie card did well this year. its getting closer.
Congrats on all of the success Ray!
great list and great job putting it all together!
thank you very much.
Thanks for the video!!!
So awesome Ray! All 10 are beautiful cards and so worthy of a HOF nod!
You did a great job with this!
thanks jim. Appreciate it
Great list and great video
Thanks for all the work you put into this Ray. Really may.
Great job, Ray.
I suggest adding an e121 Babe Ruth to the ballot.
Seems like an iconic card is an iconic card. If the top-10 iconic cards of all time belong to one player, then so be it.
Awesome induction video Ray! Great choices. Its great that you take the time to do the HOF, its very appreciated by the community! Really, truly, thanks for doing this, my friend!
thank you Darren! I appreciate it.
I didn't choose the 1953B Mantle because now no more Mantles can be inducted, and there are several I like for the honor more than this one. When I voted there was no certainty that the max for any player would be increased from 5.
I hear ya. Now with the 53 bowman mantle he has 5. but there could be a change next year to add a couple more. depends on the polling
Ray, you should be incredibly proud. This was a massive effort with a wild finish. I’ll be waiting til next year to vote for Tom again… until then, great great work!!!
thank you mookie. that seaver shocked me. hopefully next year.
great job Ray, and great addition of the opening scene.
thanks bart.
Great class ! Yay Robin Yount!
3 of my 10 made it in.
Really enjoyed this Ray, thanks for your commitment 👍 & thanks fellow CZcamsrs for the awesome turnout.
thank you craig. I appreciate it.
Great job Ray! Still waiting for that first card from the 1920's
Thank you scott
"I would like to thank Dyan at DD for his support in my induction into the Baseball Card HOF." - Robin Yount (2024) Thanks Ray for doing all the work in putting this together.
Thanks Drew, I appreciate your support. The Yount Rookie is a great card.
Yep. Still waiting for, Dylan to give his reception speech.
@7:55 video starts
Great job Ray.
Only 1 card got more than 50% of the vote? Goes to show just how subjective this kind of thing is.
Go Phils!
Well done, Ray. Pure hobby joy you provide. Next year will be vicious.
Thanks John, I appreciate you and mike having me on. it really helped out.
1994 upper deck mantle/Griffey auto. Let’s get that on the list.
One of my choices made it. I guess you had to be born before 1970 to understand the votes. 😁
This was fun. Thanks again Ray. I agree with most of the list. 6 of my 10 made it. Walter Johnson Portrait, Christy Matthewson Cracker Jack, Jimmie Foxx Goudey, Ted Williams Playball, Brooks Robinson and Robin Yount. Am also surprised by both Bonds and Jordan, though, I voted for the Jordan as one of my 10. Greenberg, out of the ones I voted, which didn't make it would probably be only one I would be disappointed about, but there's always next year. Other surprises to me, the Seaver rookie card, I thought would have made the top 10, either the Clemente 3D or the Ripken Jr. Charlotte O's minor league card due to scarcity. The Reggie Jackson auto card even, though, I didn't vote for, I thought that might have had more. Next year will break another record, for sure.
you got 6. that's awesome. I wrote down my predictions. I had 4 LoL
@@rayfromphilly6969Would have been 7 had I voted for the Paige instead of a card or two that I didn't feel would have much attraction. I thought about the final vote, some more. What surprises me the most for the cards that were voted in, is both Ted Williams cards, the Playball and Wilson Franks made the top 10. I had a feeling one of them would, and kind of figured he was popular, but didn't know, Ted, was that popular.
I forgot all about Mickey Mantle Bowman Color being on the list. Hopefully, you can consider the Manager's Dream Mantle and Mays. If it gets through, I guess we can just give Mickey, half a point, haha.
I don't know who is already in the HOF since the link doesn't work anymore, but I would like to nominate these cards. 1956 Topps #135 Mickey Mantle. 1987 Fleer #269 Will Clark. 1989 Upper Deck #145 Nolan Ryan.
Great job Ray !
Fantastic job Ray!
thank you adam.
are we getting away from the SCHOF page?
no no. its going on the SCHOF page tonight.
This is fantastic
Thank you Graig
Hopefully next year the Hobby Boom era will finally get some love. There are so many cards from the 1980's and 1990's that have had a 10x bigger impact on the hobby than some of these cards that have already gotten in. Also, 1950's and 1960's multi-player cards are needing to be added to the ballot next year.
I would like to see some multi-players vintage cards too, but it would probably just be all of the ones which have Mantle. Lol.
no limit on how many cards a player can in the baseball card hall of fame.
Is the 1984 donruss Mattingly in already
yes he's in already
Show some cards
