Ok, I am finally sold on the thing. However I refuse to give Traxxas my money unless I have to, so I am ordering the chassis and body as we speak, and doing all the upgrades building it from scratch. Max8 G2, just ordered the mount for that esc on that chassis, 40 series g2 4S motor going in it, Vitavon bulkheads with the X-01 diff mod, proline shocks, some reefs for the servo, and she should be good to rock.

I’m an old man and about to pull the trigger on my first RC car I’ve bought them for kids and grand kids just never for me been to busy riding Harley’s and doing Biker shit but I’m slowing down and want to join my grandson with the RC’ s and get him started on a good path and this looks like a good path I’m gonna get an XRT for me and one day it will be his he’s already got a Teton a tool box and have already started putting the aluminum parts on it cause shit breaks a lot I guess

Why does jacking up the price for a licensed body make sense if your a truck manufacturer you want kids to be abe to drive the toys they are definitely going to buy when they grow up! I gess they just know when the grow up the price of a real ford will be out of reach.
