- The wait has been long, but episode 2 is finally here! This one kicks off with a story reminiscent of the "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon in the two-part "Triple Trouble!", where Dr. Robotnik unleashes three familiar nincombots on the titular hero and his two-tailed sidekick. In the standard six-page "Vertigo A Go Go," when Sonic gathers an assortment of magic rings, a spring launches him into an unknown zone where up is down, and down is up. Weird and wacky hijinks ensue as Sonic crosses path with the goofball duo HorizontAL and VertiCAL. Along with a few one-page side-splitters and a special two-page story, you viewers at home are in for one heck of a treat!

Sonic sounds like the perfect in between of Jaleel White and Martin Burke.
We made the Right choice for Sonic for sure. Blake is Great at sonic voices. Also speaking on martin and the OVA since we hit 100 Subs (now 200) we're running the 30th anniversary Comic and we will be using OVA Style Voices for it. So stay tuned for that!

@@VoidofVoicesOfficial SatAM is pretty good. But along with AOSTH, I think Sonic X is the other best Sonic cartoon. SatAM is my third-favorite, though.

You do not get enough praise for how amazing this is, this had everything the show had and put in a comic. The sound effects were used nicely, I loved the voices, and the sonic sez (says) was beautiful. ❤️

These dubs are excellent, and are well-worth the wait! I wanted to note that in the cartoons Ivo is pronounced Eye-vo, while in the games it’s pronounce Eee-vo. I eagerly await issue 3!

It’s like watching Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog in comic form but then again the early Classic Sonic issues were inspired by both it and Satam

I’m guessing as the comics go on and designs change the voices will evolve with them, like Eggman sounding like Deem Bristow/Mike Pollock and Sonic sounding like Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith, or Roger Craig Smith?
This is a great Comment first off and yes. That's correct we have Several Voice actors lined up to take on the modern Character Roles but as of now we got that classic feel going on

It's a shame there's no full version of the original Robotnik theme from the cartoon out there. I would have loved to have heard that during Coconuts' intro.
We will try to get Something as close as we possibly can. Believe me we look through as many sources as we can to make sure we find the best fit for the episode and scenes. We're also working on our own original Music for this series as well. Thanks for the Love and Support.

We get a lot of questions about dubbing the limited series. While it isn't our main priority right now, It's always a possibility later down the road!

@@JDTheTraveler64 That's the plan. We're aiming for a weekly release but sometimes these episodes take a bit longer to produce for ya guys. Just be patient and we will have more episodes in the near future as well as some shorts very soon.

Will you be doing Archie Sonic in chronological order? Such as doing the mini-series and special issues?
we will be covering the entire Sonic Archie comics. Special issues like mini series and one offs will be covered too but they will be just that specials as in we wont be covering them on the same schedule we will be covering the Archie main series. The exception is the mini series as they tie into the Archie mainline so we will cover them in order

Quick question; will you do the limited series
This has been a question often asked by our viewers it seems like ya guys really want them don't ya lol at the moment we aren't doing them but anything's Possible after all keep an open mind. I do know we plan on tackling other projects down the road not just sonic related
You know. You might want to do like 4 or even 5 Sonic comix a month. Because at this current rate ( read 1 comic of Sonic, a month) it's going to take you at least 20 or more years to get through and that's not even counting all spin offs and what not. NOOT EVEN so if you wish to get through the Archie catalog in any reasonable amount of time you might wish to bundle comix into groups of 4 or 5 per monthly episode
We are trying to produce episodes at a much quicker rate than it seems right now, but sometimes things happen in others' personal lives that delay the production of the episodes a bit. Additionally, we have many more projects in store past season 1 of Archie Sonic that we plan to do, as well as additional skits and activities related and not related to Sonic. We appreciate the tip, we will keep it in mind.

Namely a 30+year endeavor which I don't think is what you wanted to sign up for lol. I believe you actually wish to get past the catalog in a much much faster time frame and I correct?
@@shademetall9383 While we do plan to Get through this as fast as possible we have one editor currently and that's all. So production isn't going as fast as we want but we can guarantee quality of Quantity at this point at least. Until we get the Appropriate Start we can only Proceed at the current rate we are at. We do appreciate the support and Will continue at the fastest rate we possibly can but remember we are all Human and can only work for so long each day before we Get burned out and one of my main jobs as director is to make sure everyone is healthy not just in a mental state but a physical one too. I do again love that you want more content so do we but pacing ourselves and bringing out the best product we can takes priority over anything else at this given time.

what happened to tails' voice?
was the actor from the first episode replaced?
the new voice for tails here isnt bad, but tails from the first episode sounded waaaaaaayyy closer to the satam tails which was one of my favorite things about the first episode, was that virtually everyone sounded like the dic counterparts for all the characters.
The Original Tails voice was played by a Young Voice Actor Around the age of 14. Yeah he had a great voice for The old school tails I agree however 2 Factors played into the change
1. The Voice actor was 14 And Had just hit the point in his life where his voice began to change and let's just say the voice was changed drastically so we had to Recast and the Voice actor also agreed on that decision.
2. The Original Voice Actor Wasn't really a fan of voice acting as much as he was an editor and as stated earlier agreed on the choice to change the Tails voice and give an opportunity to someone else.
So while it's unfortunate we had to change things it was what was best for the series also the New Actress isn't bad at all imo.

like i said the new actress isnt bad, far from it. i was just noting it was a bit jarring going from the first episode with a young bradley pierce type of voice, to a more modern-ish sounding tails.
probably just me nitpicking, but i would suggest the possibility of re-releasing the first episode but have the new tails ADR over the old actor's lines for the sake of consistency.
