Nah 2nd yeah third is horrible not the groups the fandoms and all the restrictions they had
The second gen is really one of the funniest. Not only the TV programs they where in, also what they showed on stage. It's probably because nowadays they get hate for EVERYTHING. Also all the old programs don't exist anymore through shipping scandals and so on
So sad that they’ve started hating on everything that especially female idols do, in general too. But it’s just obvious that idols nowadays are scared to show their true self’s more often, cause people will start to analyse any behavior on tiktok, Instagram and Twitter.

Ahh these were the days 😂😂 beyond missing these groups, I really miss the shows of 2nd Gen. It was just a better vibe overall. Now it’s kinda getting better bc of the rise of CZcams shows but back then even the variety shows on the major broadcasting networks were fantastic. I especially miss Star golden bell and Strong Heart.
I could write a whole paper on how those 2 shows alone fostered such a healthy environment for not only lesser idols to become well known but for idols to interact, be seen as normal/dorky, etc.
I remember that star golden bell episode with 2pm, SHINee, Snsd and Kara it was so funny
You guys should check Mamamoo's performance of one another's solos (they switched their solo songs at their concert)

fans who joined during the later 3rd gen era & 4th gen era could never expect their idols to tell such stories or talk about them
Loona sneaking in here even though they're technically a 4th gen group lol, since the full group debuted in 2018. Their predebut process really gave them this weird standing among the gens and so they're sometimes considered 3rd gen despite the group's debut year. I find it interesting
2nd gen arists in general is really built different. you would understand what I mean if your someone who has been following kpop since 2nd gen.
Since during 2nd gen era youtube and social media wasn’t a thing yet or not that advance and available for everyone’s use you would always see boy and girl groups visit variety shows to promote themselves. And boy and girl group interactions back in the day was something so natural. Friendships that last a lifetime was made during those shows be it between female or male or even female and male.
Nowadays just an eye contact is such an issue. Back in the days you would see super extra commercials with female and male group together. Collaboration stages between both genders.
It’s just different. Music award shows is like a family reunion I’m telling you. You would see rivals from different company dancing and vibing to each other. Celebrating one’s achievemnet.
Man 2nd gen is trully the golden age of kpop.
