One thing I’ve noticed about betting mentality too is the idea that once you start turning a profit you are now playing with “house money” that is where discipline starts to go out the window. Yes you took $1,000 and doubled it, now you start making high risk plays with that “free” money and quickly back slide into bad habits. Money won through gambling should still be treated as earned and as your money, same as if you worked to earn that 1K you earned and worked for that money from the books so don’t treat it like it’s disposable.
