These are my personal recommendations based on experience, and what I wish I'd known before I dove into the world of armor. (There a lot of folks out there that know way more about the details than me!)

Great video! I built a Biker Scout helmet kit back in 2008 (in high-school lol), made by KropSerkel, and it was so much fun! The Pathfinders forums were super helpful. Wish I'd had your videos to keep me inspired during all the trimming! 😆
Great video, having built many many stormtrooper helmets including a biker scout, it's not easy. But the feeling of doing yourself is most rewarding. Back in the day there was a limited a set of suppliers way before 3d printing. Now there is a good handful. I would always go for a maker that has provenance back to original piece if possible. In the uk there is Rs props and C.F.O (cast from original). cheers

Aluminum foil, bubble gum, duct tape, zip ties, and baling twine... secrets to some of the best costumes🤣 you should be proud of your work. ✊ to your time and effort. Funny funny lady. Side note: do you know how duct tape and the force are similar?? There’s a dark side and a light side and it binds the universe together😂💜

I feel like I would never finish it.
I 3d printed a couple helmets and No I never finished them. Maybe it's much easier going this route but I don't trust myself to follow through.

I also got my armor from Authentic Props in Montreal! Still trimming it down for my "a little short for a stormtrooper" stature.

Have you thought about going into 3d printing yourself? You can get a 3d printer for sub 200usd these days and make whole suits of armour for less than that. I personally recommend the ender 3 and the cr-10 both from creatility. Also i love your content.
Can you recommend a vendor for mandalorian armor ? I’m in 5’1 - 5’3 height range so I’m very small and well I can’t seem to find someone who sells ‘ short trooper ‘ armor
Ohh that’s a good question.
For custom mandos, I know most make theirs out of Sinatra (type of plastic). You can find patterns on the Mandalorian Mercs forum.
If you want something specific like Din Djarin or Bo Katan, custom 3D printed may be your best bet, where they can size it down for you.
I don’t know any vendors for that unfortunately, but the Mercs will have those resources!
If you have a damaged Storm trooper armour, you could convert it into to a night trooper.

If you love diy and custom stuff buy a 3D printer I have about 10 Mando helmets and a full stormtrooper suit and a iron man suit 3D printing is a awesome skill to have you can make anything and it’s cheap! Goodluck to everyone

I saw the first Star wars Movie when I was about 7yrs old all during the 80s the 90s and even into the 2000s I have never met any girls or women that had anything but maybe a passing interest in Star wars they may have liked princess Leia. Or in the 80s had a crush on Harrison Ford. But nothing like today all the girls and women I knew just weren't into these type of thing's. Nothing wrong with it just different times I guess

It can be a blast! But joining is absolutely not a requirement to enjoy Star Wars armor and costuming.
The standards are good for uniformity across all garrisons all over the world. Sometimes the standards aren’t communicated in the kindest way, and that can be a bummer.
It's just when you do create armor and do join them there always like something that you need to fix or something like that it's just sometimes a pain
