Dude, I love you man! Thanks for putting this out there. I have a God-given Metallic nature, and have been gifted with the ability to discern when a song by an non-Christian band is about Jesus, or praising God. Some metal songs that sound like regular old love songs are actually the band praising the Lord in a low-key way to avoid the grief and backlash from the antichristian fans. But it starts with bands like these planting those seeds, then more and more popular metal bands will jump on board, then praising the Lord in metal will become the most glorious never-ending fad ever! Metal is very powerful and should be used for the glory of God against the enemy! The spirit of the Lord is being poured out and everything is at work according to His will and His timing! Sinful and evil based metal (and music in general) is very catchy and popular with the sinful nature of human beings, and the enemy clearly uses such entertainment to captivate audiences, but the almighty God of the universe can step in anytime and turn it all around against the enemy! It's the bait, the lure, the hook that draws you in, but when the time is right, and the plentiful harvest is gathered beneath the fishers of men, the Lord will reveal himself in a mighty and glorious way! It's super duper exciting 😅

Most recently, I discovered the song "Firefly" by Esoterica, which was a gentle but powerful reminder of how the Lord feels toward me, and all of us, even when we turn away from Him, ignore Him, and try to take life into our own hands. I can't even fully sing along to it because I get so emotional in His love through that song. I also enjoy the new song "Give It All" by Striker, which sounds like another typical love song to the untrained ear, but I hear a totally rad worship song! The Lord also powerfully delivered me from my greatest struggle through the song "Learning to Live" by Dream Theater, which became my greatest testimony! Our amazing God loves us and knows what will personally work for us to come closer to Him. Praise Him through our Lord Jesus Christ!

I Love what you are saying about some of what secular band's are writing about I believe the out pouring of the spirit of god amongst his creation. As a metal head with christian beliefs. Some these bands are having the spirit of god is pouring through them they are writing about their experience. Iron maiden wrote songs like for the greater good of god, when wild wind blows, Sign of the cross.

Bible says even the Rocks will cry out about Jesus. In the case, even the Rockers will cry out that Jesus is Lord!

As an x heavy metal fan, I can assure you they are not christian!
Perhaps it doesn't take guts, but the move of the Holy spirit
moving even unbelievers to sing songs where Jesus name is being lifted up.
All things were created for His glory.

Yes. God will be glorified through ALL of His creation and He is worthy of such glory.

There are believers and unbelievers in this world today. There is no such thing as a "Christian band" Some musicians are believers, some are not. There are plumbers that believe in Christ. And plumbers that don't believe in Christ. Some of the most evil music I've ever heard, ironically is in church buildings across this world planet. Hyms that are doctrinally incorrect. dygertron entertainment "dream of the Christmas guitar"
