Transport:
Getting to Cinsbu (鎮西堡) and the trailhead is not easy and requires private transport as there are no scheduled bus services.
Driving takes about 2 hours 30 minutes from Hsinchu and 3 hours 30 minutes from Taipei.
Some travel companies run shuttle buses to the trail and buses with drivers can also be rented.
