Tangerine Dream are an electronic music group founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese in Berlin. Over the past five decades, they have endured as a seminal force in Krautrock, electronic music and dance music.
Although the group released numerous studio and live recordings, a substantial number of their fans were introduced to Tangerine Dream by their film soundtracks, which total over sixty and include Sorcerer, Thief, Risky Business, The Keep, Firestarter, Legend, Near Dark, Shy People, and Miracle Mile. In 2013, Tangerine Dream composed the original score for Rockstar’s video game Grand Theft Auto V.
Their latest studio album ‘Raum’ was released in February 2022 and performed on their tour ‘From Virgin to Quantum Years 2022’. The record entered the German Album Chart at #39 and the Official UK Dance Album Chart at #1 among others. ‘Raum’ marks the band’s most successful release since the 1980s and was highly praised by the press. Excellent TD. Great recording! I am sad I missed it . (Now, i wish the violin sound would have more presence during her solos... it's like the microphone was off and picked up from another mic.). Anyway, it's great music. Keep the TD banner waving !!

I've been a fan for almost 50 years and have been to 6 of their concerts, the last being last year that was the worst one.
It's too bad that they have lost their way without Edgar it's just not the same

From 16:00 to 20:20 is "Choronzon" from the album EXIT.
I really thought Edgar's son Jerome would carry on the Dream but I was shocked when this did not happen. I sure miss Edgar and Christopher Franke days.

Love on a Real Train, didn't need that weird violin part, just didn't seem right. The original is still the best version, difficult to emulate, though State Azure comes pretty close, this version just doesn't do it for me. Sorry.
Terrible bland sounds. Perge are keeping the sound of T.D alive and sound better.
