- This is a video with tips and tricks for a Navi 900 Intellilink of the first generation (from 2014) in my Opel Insignia A Facelift.
Since every Insignia is different, some tips and tricks may not work depending on the year of manufacture / model year.

Note from my side: I have not been driving the Insignia since April 2020 and have switched to the Kia Proceed GT.
Therefore, in case of doubt, I can only give help based on what I knew at the time. Getting in the car and checking something is unfortunately no longer possible.

Hinweis von meiner Seite: Ich fahre den Insignia seit April 2020 nicht mehr und bin zum Kia Proceed GT gewechselt.
Daher kann ich im Zweifel nur noch aus meinem damaligen Wissen, Hilfestellungen geben. Ins Auto setzen und mal was nachsehen, geht leider nicht mehr.

Also das Tacho Display kann man umstellen lassen, entweder auf die OPC (Unlimited) Version oder wie bei mir das Buick GS Design. Vauxhall VRX oder wie es heißt gibt es auch. Muchas gracias. Pero a pesar del traductor, no entiendo bien la pregunta. No tenía una cámara de marcha atrás en el Insignia y no conecté una después. Solo sé que debería haber algún tipo de módulo que pueda usarse para alimentar una cámara de marcha atrás. Pero no sé nada más y como ya no tengo el Insignia, no puedo probar nada.

Vielen Dank. Aber trotz Übersetzer, verstehe ich die Frage nicht ganz. Ich hatte im Insignia keine Rückfahrkamera und habe auch keine nachträglich angeschlossen. Ich weiß nur, dass es irgendwelche Module geben soll, mit dem man eine Rückfahrkamera einspeisen kann. Aber mehr weiß ich auch nicht und da ich den Insignia nicht mehr habe, kann ich da auch nichts testen.

Hi, unfortunately I only know this secret menu. In other systems to make settings, I think you can only get via ODB (OnBoard Diagnostics) interface.
I only have an OBD2 connector, which can be used to read and delete errors, and to display other data for the Torque App, for example.

Hi, das müsstest du einfach mal testen. Normalerweise wird über Bluetooth das abgespielt, was du auf dem Smartphone gerade ausgewählt hast, z.B. Interner Musikplayer, Spotify, CZcams usw.
Letztlich ist das Auto dann über Bluetooth nur der Lautsprecher für das Smartphone.

Greetings sir, I have a question about your virtual cockpit design, I have 2015 Insignia and mine virtual cockpit has a slightly different design and shows a little less information for example mine doesn't show battery voltage, oil temperature, etc... My question is if you got yours somehow updated to show those information or you have it like that from factory, and if you have it updated would you kindly tell me how to do that?

You need a tool called "Opelscanner CAN" to change the design and other Options.
An Opel or Vauxhall dealer cannot change that.
The best thing is to look through the forums in your country to see if anyone offers them there.
Several designs can be set:
GM Dark
GM Light
Opel Insignia standard
Opel Insignia OPC
Opel Insignia OPC Unlimited
Vauxhall VRX
Vauxhall VRX Unlimited
Buick shelf GS
What other options can be activated depends on the vehicle and its equipment. The oil temperature could be displayed on my Insignia, but without any value because no sensor is installed.

He comes from the Allgäu / Bavaria (in the south of Germany) and he also comes to Munich. At least he had unlocked it for me and several others in Munich two years ago.

Öl anzeige bei diesel motoren zeigt nicht ich denke so habe ich gelesen ...

Hallo, soweit ich weiß konnte man Android Auto in dem Fall dann kostenpflichtig beim Opel Händler freischalten lassen. Aber wie genau der Ablauf ist und ob es auch anderes geht kann ich nicht sagen. Da ich einen Insignia von 2014 mit Navi 900 Intellilink Gen. 1 hatte, war das nie eine Option, da dort weder CarPlay noch Android Auto möglich waren. Im Motor-Talk Forum gab es aber Threads dazu.

Hi, ich habe es selbst noch nicht probiert, aber dazu muss das Video auf jeden Fall entsprechend konvertiert werden.
Empfehlung gemäß Quelle "Das fehlende Handbuch":
Container: mp4
Videocodec: H.264, Baseline, Level 3.0
VIdeogröße: max. breite 720 Pixel
Audiocodec: AAC 64 kbit/s Stereo
Hinweis: Es soll natürlich nur im Stand mit angezogener Handbremse gehen.

Hi, Apple Carplay and also Android Auto are only available with the Gen 2 from the Navi 900 Intellilink. Officially, there is no way to update Gen 1 to Gen 2. According to some forums, there should be people from Russia who have managed it. But this requires a hardware exchange and software programming. It also costs around 1000 euros.

Normalerweise sollte FAT32 ohne Probleme klappen, ich hatte sogar NTFS formatiert, wie im Video zu sehen.

Was für einen Insignia hast du denn genau, also Baujahr/Modelljahr und hast du noch 2 USB Ports und den SD-Kartenslot?
Zeigt das System wenn du den USB Stick einsteckst irgendwas an, oder zeigt Aktivität? Evtl. kann das erstmalige einlesen, vor allem wenn es viel Musik ist, etwas dauern.
Ansonsten sollte es wie gesagt eigentlich klappen, wenn der USB Stick als FAT32 oder NTFS formatiert ist und dort ganz normale mp3 Dateien drauf sind. Diese können auch in Ordnern sein.
Als letztes könnte man es noch mit einem anderen USB-Stick probieren, oder einer SD Karte (falls du eine hast sowie auch im Auto den Slot dafür).
Da ich das Auto seit April 2020 nicht mehr habe, kann ich dir dann auch nicht mehr so viel helfen. Wenn es dann immer noch nicht geht, würde ich empfehlen du fragst mal im Motor-Talk Forum. www.motor-talk.de/forum/opel-insignia-a-b1010.html Da kann man dir sicher auch helfen.
@@napX89 Guten Tag ich habe opel insignia limousine 2016 1.6 Diesel Zeit gestern habe ich probiert viele USB Stick ungefähr 20 USB und geht nicht. Und habe ich ein USB port und AUX . Mit dem AUX geht musik und mit handy aber mit dem USB geht nicht. Ich danke
Weiß jemand ob man CarPlay irgendwie installieren kann ?
Muss man komplett die Intellilink Computer ausbauen und mit einem von Modelljahr 2016 einbauen, da dieser aus MY16 doppelte Hardwareleistung hat. Dabei muss man zusätzlich die FIN bei dem Neuen ändern aber da bin ich mir nicht sicher ob es wirklich FIN kodiert werden müsse. Habe eine Webseite vor eine Weile gefunden, die solche Arbeit in Polen macht und es kostet etwas mehr als 500 Euro.
Meiner Meinung nach es lohnt es sich nicht.
