Wow! I finally found the one person in the world that says H-point-264 and H-point-265 instead of H-dot-264 and H-dot-265. Do I win some sort of prize?
No one should be editing these files. It’s in almost every manual of almost every NLE out there. Nothing plays nice with these files. You should always transcode to ProRes or DNxHD. These files will play smoothly even with effects on them. It’s all about having patience and taking the time to transcode the files before you start editing. Even Hollywood editors do this on Media Composer when given footage filmed with H.264/H.265
Hey dude you seem known to me actually your voice and eyes then I noticed your beard I used to see your videos without your beard tms I thought that was fake beard 😂😂😂
This is a pretty bad explanation: -The Box should be the container not the codec -The word "capability" is not appropriate (because it's about data or information vs file-size) -He is saying that h265 has less banding😂 (thats funny because with h265 it can be that 64x64 pixel blocks with the exact same values are stored on the date-drive directly from camera) -Why should h264 not support 10bit🤔🤦♂️😂
H.264 can now support 10 bit footage as seen in a6700
@TMS Media: correction, H.264 can support 10 bit
Color depth but most 10 bit sources that shoot 10 bit 4:2:2 are h.265 so the files aren't massive
Is the inspire 3 12bit?
Thank you so much ❤

Why my h.264 video is more mb than h.264?

Is the h265 editing problem overcome by using proxies in a different codec?
I use dlog video and use codec h264. So this is not 10bit video?

How to remove banding in H.264
H264 is full capable for 4:2:2 10Bit also 4:4:4 is possible in 12Bit
A real codecs moment...
