the editing of this video is just perfect. nat birchall is one of my favorite current jazz musicians, and this quartet is so scientific and precise. i love it.

Love most of Mr Birchall's stuff. He's even corresponded with me a few times. Just wanted to highlight that I got shafted today with a cunning sales ploy with Nat's latest offering. Sadly I'd pressed the Bandcamp buy button before I'd realised it was full of Coltrane's meaningless non musical cobblers. ( Give me Alice any day).The part that hurts; when is a limited sale of 130 copies suddenly, hey if you missed that then there's about 3627 more along shortly at various outlets maybe even Wilco's LOL.

Your pointless defence of Coltrane, a man who played all the right notes but not in the right order and amazingly you think you're on the higher ground. I know where to go when I want to hear easy listening and now I've found the opposite. May the Jizz be with you.
