So...What was the point of this? Yeah, it was cool to watch, but...nothing important actually happened to the island.
I mean...it seems like something could happen at the vault
But they destroyed the vault
And the vault powers Neo Tilted so

To be honest with you guys it might not be a bad thing that nothing was destroyed; if the Fortbyte image and live event buildup theory is anything, this could have been the end of a chapter of the Fortnite storyline. In other words, Season 10 would be the next fresh start, the first we've had since Season 3. (Dusty depot meteor technically wasn't a live event)
Chapter 1: Seasons 4-6 (Rocket launch, loot lake cube event if that counts, butterfly event)
Chapter 1.5: Seasons 7-9 (ice storm, unvaulting/eruption, final showdown)
Chapter 2: Possibly Seasons 10-12? (3 more events?)
