I’ve been a fan of this song for over a year but never really listened to the lyrics. My mom died unexpectedly a few months ago, and I’ve been struggling a lot. I put this song on last night as I was putting away my clean and folded clothes. I actually listened to the lyrics, and I took a really long break from laundry so I could cry for a while. Tirzah, this song is really powerful and really hit me somewhere deep. You’ll never see this, but I really am grateful for your art. Thank you. ❤
