Great, I'll make one this weekend and use it for the next 20yrs. Thanks fellas!
Ecc bbhko
Hahahaha I was thinking the sams
Yep. Gotta love you tube inspired ideas
A
i think this bucket attachment for an Excavator is a great idea, however, i do think it needs a "little" more adjustment. this isn't a "hateful" comment but just an observation. i think the bucket should have had a more secure attachment to the Excavator blade something like the quick attach for skid steers. and, since an Excavator's front blade will lift up maybe two feet, if this bucket had some kind of "hinge" on it that would allow it to stay attached to the blade but tilt forward to "dump" the dirt in it while the blade was raised to the max height, that would allow the Excavator to actually carry and "dump" dirt where wanted. i don't think the idea of using this bucket to unload or load a truck is of any value as the Excavator's bucket is MUCH more efficient in doing this task. just my two cents...
I built a something very similar with forks to move pallets around a yard, worked better then I thought it would.
Looks pretty useful, if you don’t have a skid steer or you have on but it’s being used at another job. Disregard all the haters on here, they’re just mad they didn’t think of it. Price isn’t to bad either 👍🏽
but how do you dump the dirt?
@@jonathanbeam6898 you didn't even watch the video? lol smh
Absolutely amazing! Who ever came up with this idea is a genius 👍
Thats a wicked good idea! Im always moving rocks around and this would save tons of time
This is actually a great idea, smaller job sites you wouldn’t to bring the skid steer to transport materials across the yard plus you can carry more in the bucket, would pay for itself in saved equipment transport costs in a year....
Well I will say the dude at the controls *definitely* knows his business...
I wouldn’t say a must have
Just curious, but wouldn’t that put too much stress on the idler’s over time. I don’t think they are designed to carry that much weight while traveling.
I can see it being a great counter weight for zero turn machines.
Don't listen to the Nay sayers here....I have the patent on the kubota hercules attachment. I get tons of critical posts. Whatever you find works for you is a great tool to have! The critics can't see advancements in productivity even when it is shown on video. I would ask how often does the bucket come off the blade by accident or how often have you dropped that bucket while loading a truck?
Hi Bob, thanks for the positive feedback ! To adresse your question, the only time it has lifted slightly off the blade is when the driver would try to scoop a pile of frozen dirt. No one has dropped the bucket while loading a truck as we instruct to curl the bucket and lock the thumb.
Simple and effective. I love it!
I don’t know if that ram is designed to handle that much load but cool idea
Yea those rams are generally pretty beefy for what the are needed for anyhow considering how they are mounted I wouldn't worry!
Late reply, but they`ll lift the machine off the ground and using the boom u can shift nearly all the machines weight to the blade.
NEW in Jan 2019!! B38 model for 1.5 to 2 ton excavators starting at $800 usd
Not so sure about an absolute must
I could see where this would be really useful even if you didn't use it for dirt or stuff like that get some concrete weights that fit in it an use it for more counter weight when digging.
Never thought of that, good idea
Would be a lot easier and quicker using the bucket and backhoe, that thing will just be in the way. Just my opinion tho
you're damn righr thar thingy is stupid.
Would be cool in certain applications.
Fits on all major brands of excavators with blades from 55" to 84". product availability this September !
How do you dump the dirt / gravel? Because the tilt blade in front doesn't tilt down.
Super good concept for landscapers
I don't think its a concept, it's an actual piece of equipment.
this is very smart and helpful!!. Nice! Canadian too! .
Cool I like it looks like a must have if you can only afford to buy one piece of equipment, I would definitely go with a mini excavator if I could only afford one
Nice to have this option. Price is about where it should be.
Need forks to move pallets
Got 1 best thing i got on my mini digger helps makes gardening a dream
Does this damage the drive motors, the blade is not made for pushing materials? 🤔
The blade is meant for backfilling trenches. It’s not meant for bulldozing / cutting into compacted ground, but pushing loose dirt is what it’s there for.
@Ethan Robison Yes I have operated excavators for several hundred hours. I don't know about you but I don't feel like replacing the drive motors every month. Of course i get it that you can push small amounts of material without damaging the drive motors but it's not meant for bulldozing or pushing big piles of material
I've got a Cat 301.8 and I've had to replace the tiny drive pinion in the final drives. I was shocked at how tiny the male/female splined joint was, only about 10mm in diameter and 10mm engagement length. Of course it wore out. Cat only sold complete final drives at a price of A$4000 each so it would have cost me A$8000 just to replace the final drives. Luckily I managed to find a mob in the UK that supply aftermarket internal parts. Plus I'm quite good mechanically and stripped down the final drives myself to do the repairs so got away with a total cost of about $800. Let's just say I was a lot more careful what stress I gave to the final drives with pushing, etc. Yeah, an excavator is definitely not a bulldozer but that bucket attachment would be handy for carrying materials and dirt.
Nice! Canadian too! 👍
Thats a good Dustpan and Brush !!!!!!!!
Nice attachement
Great video. Thank you for sharing
Its a genius idea!! So simple but so handy!! What's the patent number!?! 🤔
Okay, this is actualy genius lol
That is a neat tool and from seeing the price pretty reasonable cool tool indeed make life little easier!!
this is very smart and helpful!!
Why do companies go through so much trouble displaying their product without displaying a price???
Louis P. They may vary the prices for each individual..
Louis. I know, annoying. But it's done so you have to contact them. Then they can do their sales pitch.
That’s about 1/50th as quick as a skid steer.
THINK ILL STICK TO A BOBCAT!
I built a log splitter for my blade, digger too small for this bad boy.
Qu'elle magnifique engin
I'm all for makeing thing easy-going but not sure this is a successful idear!
Just another monument in the yard rusting away, haha.
That's a neat concept!
Thank you ! Check out our website at www.bladebuddy.ca we've got different models for different size's of excavators ! More videos to come soon !
Kinda cool...still isn't a Mecalac tho...
Hi adamartzer, it definitely isn't a Mecalac, but it's also an attachment. If anything, you can fit the Bladebuddy on the blade of your Mecalac and increase its material handling.

"offload"😂😂😂😂
That looks awesome👍
I need this in my life - awesome
Very creativeee
Blade isnt ment for lifting it's made for pushing cylinders should be bigger and more of a angle and would only be good for farmers and for the od job sites where u can get a load dumped where u want it
love it!!!! so what's the price?

Is this usd or cad
Omg you are soooo behind when it comes to equipment to excavators in the us
Nice i subscribed❤
Genius !!!
Time is moneyToo time consuming it will rust out stick to your track loader get job done much faster Now if you had an knuckle boom bucket you be in business Game over
@andrewcanamarata
Aqui no Brasil nunca vi
I love new stuff. Cool..........
Great concept other that the blade cylinder can handle shit for weight cause it wasn't designed for it
You would be wrong about that. That cylinder can support the full weight of the machine when using the blade to level the machine while digging. There is a pressure valve specific to that cylinder that does need to be adjusted on the Kubota for it to lift more capacity. It is adjusted from the factory to have max down pressure, but "give" if a rock or stump lands on it. It is a very simple adjustment and then it will lift well over a ton of material.
Almost like a mecalac.
C'est tout bête mais bien pratique il fallait y penser 😉👍
Roughly How much is this 1200 or 6500?
Hi Dylan ! We sell our units at approximately $2999 depending on your location, shipping costs vary. If you would like a quote contact us through our website. www.bladebuddy.ca/purchase
Que equipamento inovador!!!!!
How bout a skid steer
If you've already got an excavator this starts at $900 I've never seen an operational skid steer for $900
Same here
Let me leave a real comment. This is totally a waste of time
If you know how to you an excavator. You do not need this bucket.
SUPER!!! SUPER!!!
Super 👍
Thank you ! Check us out on Facebook @thebladebuddy
not a must have tool
Ben Carey Wow great comment I was going to buy one but after I read your comment nvm. I have a laser too but I might just throw it out and go back to the water level trick it’s not a must have either. While I’m at it I’ll sell the mini ex and just go back to a shovel and wheelbarrow.
😂you will save on fuel
Thats a hard pass.
Its not time efficient but I could make it work
Depends on your application. I'd love one.
Because you're soooo fucking awesome.
This is ridiculous and a waste of money. Either get an X-boom or a Mecalac machine.
Get something that people won't laugh you off the job with.
Top!
That. Really looks. Like. Such. A non needed. Death trap. I think that might jump to the most stupidest things ive ever seen. Why would you waste your time designing that. 30 plus year excavation contractor. With many machines
How many years have you been typing?
@@TheWallsocket not many. But i sure as frig know my way around an excavation company. I guess i have typed well enough to do my company's billing and make quite a few million doing it so i guess my typing will do !!
Agreed. I can just see the look on the safety guys face now.
Looks useless
dermot brown agree
Looks like insurance would not approve it
I Sexually Identify As A 4.2 GU Patrol
Agree. That dude is on some butthurt for why?
I don't trust the fulkrum. I would be more inkluded to trust a aktual large bukket fixed in reverse. Perhaps with a sekond smaller bukket and quikk attach setup. Dare I speak such things without offending someone.
Мечта!)
Nope, nope, nope. That thing isn’t handy at all. Dumping looks like a chore. Nope, nope, nope.
Got to love Canadian engineering! Miles better than the US and as good as Europe.
Get a rotator tilt system
Tiltrotators are nice attachments but can only accommodate the attachment for that excavator size, this bucket looks like it could load more material for the excavator size. This also is an extremely cost effective alternative because there aren’t any auxiliary hydraulics required. A tiltrotator is designed for a different purpose and again can only carry attachments that fit the size of excavator. The blade buddy looks that it could haul the load of a pretty well sized excavator.
$100 $500 $1000 $5000???
Newly designed 2019 models: $800 to $2300 depending on the model. (Internet pricing - Freight not included) www.bladebuddy.ca/products
Er vell snedi
That not productive at all
Mr sunshines ur an idiot
👍👍
i could load a truck ten times faster with just the bucket
Kevin. You missed the point. It carries extra material saving multiple trips and/or need for second machine.
Be great for topsoil or I pick rocks from my deer field with a mini one rock at a time. This would help greatly.
What a stupid idea!
It must be for non operators!
🤨🤨?? Useless
Dum waste of money
Seems like a pain in the ass
🤦♂️Waste of time and money, stupidity!!!!!
definitely not a must have tool
Sa serre a rien. Nul à chier. Bien bon pour le bricoulou du dimanche 😂
Nice i subscribed❤
