Been looking at these myself. I have even recommended them on a couple bugout videos that some families have done.
Because they break down they can easily be carried in the car so that if you have to abandon the car you can still carry some excess gear you wouldn't be able to otherwise. Also if you have smaller kids you have a ready made bed or transport. The main thing is that it adds to what you could take with you without taking up a lot of room in storage.
As you mentioned though, those blow molded tires on most models aren't going to hold up very well I suspect. Would like to find one with decent tires.
I have a similar one.
Used it to move my daughter into her dorm room.
We use it at the park to move our stuff for picnics.

Like the weight capacity for the cost. I no longer use a wheelbarrow for anything. But like your idea for the solar system moving. Little red wagon for the grandkids. I do have a dedicated trailer for the eBike. I bet with that roof and some clear plastic sheeting you could even use in some rain?
interesting, i have been looking at the carts at sams club and costco which are around $90.

I got a different brand that does not come with a canopy or removable basket for use in group camps. because the company mssedup I ended up getting a second one and was told I could keep both plus got a refund. I am going to donate the unopened wagon to a group that runs an eventI volunteer at every year.nube hyst fikds yo without any assembly and has a cover to put over it when collapsed
I would add the Velcro to the fabric to strap it i thing bungee would be to damaging.
