I have just seen this video and it reminds me of when I stayed at a hotel in London. I was on a school trip (so obvs they booked cheap hotels as the money was mainly on food and activities) and my god I was horrified. We walked in and it look Devine but when we got to our room oh god it was traumatising. Stains in the sheets, stains on the carpet, mould in the bathroom and a broken shower, a tv from the literal 70s so we couldn’t exactly use it, broken beds, stained pillows and bugs everywhere till this day I am traumatised

I remember I was on a school trip to the Isle of Wight with my class and I was put in the hotel room. I opened the door and we were horrified at what we saw. There were spider webs behind the drawers and I was like 'nope I am going back home' Since I was scared of spiders
I once stayed in a hotel were i had no actual beefcake, it was just a mattress on the floor. My boyfriend and I moved the mattress as there seemed to be a horrid smell of urine near it. When we moved it, there was not only human excriments but also about 100 or so bed bugs. The bathroom was locked from the inside and when we got one of the staff to open it, we found that the toilet was covered in POO! We left the hotel in minutes and called someone to sort it out. Luckily we got more than our money back and the place was sold on to someone else because the health people said it wasn't safe for people to live in. We stayed in a beach hut in Sri Lanka that had rats in ceiling above bed. So much dirt in room I had to clean it . Couldn't see properly out of windows either, had to clean those. Found pile of magazines with black sludge oozing down over it. Husband slept outside on bench, wouldnt sleep in the place despite me having spent half the evening cleaning it. The owners lived nearby and were scary. They brought us supper that was so spicy we couodnt eat it, we werent sure that anyone could. Owners werent friendly and didnt speak any English. We were miles from anywhere else, it was late and dark and we were actually scared of the owners.
Me and my man stayed in the Ibis hotel in Glasgow and it was a riot. Everyone staying there was either drunk or partying, we were too. We tried to buy pizza for ourselves and these drunk girls basically forced us to sell it to them, I'm not kidding, they kept begging my man and gave him a tenner for it. We were running around the hotel all night dodging the security men. The bed was literally a concrete block covered in lino stuff with a crappy mattress on top. Didn't sleep a wink

Haven't had an opportunity to stay at a place as fun as this. But I have worked in hotels. A bit of a friendly advice: no matter how clean and posh the hotel is, never drink straight out of the glasses/cups in the room. Wash them. Thoroughly. Never use them straight. Ever.

Hotel in Kuala Lumpur had floor with stolen topography from the mountains featured in the sound of music. ....Reckon someone thought that putting a few large black and white tiles down over it with the occassional blob of glue might make it disappear . Really, no idea what was under that floor, tree roots perhaps ? I hope it wasnt dead bodies. Trippy as hell and quite unbelievable.
I worked as a porter (takes out the dirty linen and towels before the room attendant cleans the room) the weekend after the first 50 Shades of Grey came out in theaters.... that was an interesting day.
Stayed in a hotel where the bathroom door was clear glass. No matter where you were in the room, you could see the other person peeing. Thankfully the person I was staying with was my boyfriend but at the same time, forcibly seeing anyone peeing is not a a fun time 😂😂

I stayed somewhere once and the toilet rocked when I sat down, the sink had 2 temps: scalding hot and frost bite cold, the bed poofed dust when I sat my bag down on it, there were loose tiles in the floor of the bathroom, the towels were wrinkled like someone just used it/hung it up, there were no soaps in the bathroom, the TV was from 1987 and I stayed the whole night sleeping in the one lawn chair from outside that I found rather than lay my body and face down on that nasty bed.
I stayed in a motel in Bristol with my best friend when we were 16 and woke up to a literal grown man letting himself into our room with a key. Turns out the boiler was in our room and he needed to get to it, not a particularly pleasant experience for two underage girls lmao

I see this shade spooky woman standing at the bottom of my bed and her head turn around and she looks at me. At first Thot it was my sister but she was sleeping . I remember going on holiday with my family to Rome, the hotel we book was very old.I share a room with my younger sister ,we look around the room and outside the window and we saw a homeless guy ranging in a big rubbish bin's outside of the hotel looks for cardboard box of food to eat and he was drink and wear binbag hat and Cape thing he make there was also a church building to. The room door had a wooden plack on it send panoramic on it .
It wasn’t that bad but it was a hotel in Atlantic City New Jersey it reeked of weed and alcohol (it had a casino and bars and stuff like that) and we tried to check in and it was like midnight and we went to the room that we were given and there was trash everywhere like there was a tea bottle there was chip bags there was a ton of stuff then in the second room the room key wouldn’t work so we had to get a third room and we stayed in the third room it was subpar but good enough for one day

Once we were in the room it was very smelly, the door was difficult to open then once we got in to the room the beds looked like someone had just slept there. The sink was backed up and there was urine in the toilet. When we talked to the front desk she said something along the lines of “Oops must have gave you a dirty room” then laughed. The most messed up thing was we went there for a family members surgery to remove cancer from her leg, and the hotel new that we were staying there for the surgery.
My husband and I stayed at a “B&B” in Southampton once and I was certain that we would be murdered. Our room was in an old lean to outback, and apparently we had the best room! The entire room was filled by the bed, no room to walk around. The bed was filthy and still wet from someone using the shower, which was in a tiny open cupboard next to the bed. Plus there was a huge window, the curtain didn’t even come close to covering it, with a smoking area just outside so people could just see in... It was atrocious!
I went to Paris during 2020 summer holiday we found our hotel we booked was closed and we were put in to a different hotel, the first room had black mold all over it and Bugs everywhere, the second room didn't even have any beds in and smelled like the worst thing you could ever smell. the lift was a foot wide it was minuscule and the receptionist didn't even want to give us our money back, there was building work on the lower floor. Not to mention the COMUNAL bathroom which was just as bad as the rest of the hotel. we then walked only a few metres down the road to the nicest Hotel I've ever been in in for £200 cheaper with breakfast lunch and dinner. We had a balcony with a starbucks round the corner.

However, one year, I believe I was 14, we went somewhere else. Holy jesus tania christ. From the moment we stepped through the door, we could tell that something wasn't right. So first off, there was also no wifi which was odd because on the website, it clearly said there was. But that was far from the worst. The whole place STANK of wee. No joke. My dad even bought a mop and cleaned the floors.. the colour of the water afterwards... jesus... like dark brown water. It was gross. The place had not been cleaned at all. There were stains on the sofa and just these random marks on the fabric. Even after we had cleaned it, it still stank. We left such bad reviews and took so many photos. All in all, we left 2 days early. Never going back there again.
you've never experienced bad until you've been to pontins brean sands - The window was hanging off the hinges over my bed - There were bodily fluids on the mattress - the wardrobe was hanging off the wall - holes in the walls - stank of smoke (supposed to be a smoke free room) My mum complained was given a different room only to have the shower head come loose and wack her on the head, went back to the manager to explain that this wasnt acceptable got offered £20 in pontins money THAT YOU CANT FUCKING USE ANYWHERE IN THE PLACE. We wrote the trading standards and got our money back, then a letter a few days later from the manager to say that we were no longer welcome in the park WE GOT BANNED FROM FUCKING PONTINS
I went to a hotel and it looked like a gangs street for the location. We put the pin to get in the front door and we were in. We walked to our room and the door pushed open and was being held shut with a chair. As we walked in we were greeted with mould and two people making love in the upstairs bit. This room looked nothing like the pictures.The owner of the hotel came and made them leave. The owner then starts to clean by just whipping bleach all over the kitchen. She then left and my family searched the upstairs where we found beams over one bed and to get to the other one u have to climb over the bed. Me and my family had decided we were not staying there so we quickly got our stuff and left and booked a travel lodge. They never payed us back so £300 for a dungeon is not ok
Two of the bugs look like kissing bugs not stink bugs. Kissing bugs feed on blood, look them up they carry a nasty parasite 🙈🤢 Hopefully neither of you ended up with any bug bites during the night.
