Lando is so right. He was awesome at vtubing and he will be again when he starts again. No idea what happened previously, and never gonna speculate anything about it. I do look forward to his new journey as a Vtuber once again, he definitely has a lot of potential in that. Based on his previous debut stream, I was totally captured by him, and it changes my mind of the first impression I got from the model design. He fully utilized the design and created 1 of the most creative debut I've ever seen.
I genuinely hope Lando knows how much people cherished him at his old job. He helped me through so much just being there as a distraction from day to day sadness. I hope with this new project he feels better and better m, slowly but surely 💜
i think that it's the feeling of "i know i could have done that better, but people didn't think that way and still think that i failed", it makes him angry and now he wants to prove that he can do it, for him and all other people.

While it might not have worked out the way he thought it was going to, at least he didn't end up with that black company who's been repeatedly in the leg for the last 2 months.
as someone who became a fan of his from when he was doing the other thing, i'm really excited to see him get a vtuber model made!! him explaining how the true story of what happened is not what we think and there's a lot of pent up emotions and anger meant a lot to hear, even if we will never know the full story. i remember back then i felt quite sad, and slighty bitter about it if im being honest. but him finally touching on it means a lot. ill support you prof
yeah i was bitter about it for a while too but over time I got over it and it was for the best I think. learned a lesson to not put too many eggs in one basket and to realize these guys have their own lives to live and i cant control that.

Having baggage that he can't discuss and process is obviously hard, so talking through and feeling those emotions in a confidential setting with expert guidance could help. And if I may overshare for a bit, I've been talking to a counsellor to sort through all the problems that I've accumlated since childhood. Progress is incredibly slow and I don't know if I'll ever reach a point where I can be the normal person I want to be. But being able to (gradually) recall past events without overwhelming anger/sadness/despair is... somewhat liberating - and I hope Lando will be able to feel that relief too.

I have friends that enjoy anime but absolutely want nothing to do with vtubers. He knows that there are folks who can't blend the mediums and will leave. As IntenseFoolishness put it, I see it as a promise to not expect the base to blindly support him, and to potentially treat it like a big reset button.
The old place was already the best place you could go for corpo vtubing yet it was to the extent of punching a hole through his gloves. Some people are simply not cut out for corpo, some are and i can see he's much suited indie

Your therapist cannot legally share what's been said outside of informing law enforcement of criminal activity. A court would have to subpoena them. It is protected info and it is in their own best interest to not disclose anything. You are supposed to have full confidence. So yes, it is generally fine to talk about NDA stuff unless you're dealing with state secrets.
Nothing made me happier than hearing he finally decided to take these roles, especially after the events of last year. I know he had talked about it during Offkai, especially with joking about how he was the only fleshtuber amongst all these Vtubers. Hell, I remember asking him if his model would be a femboy wwww. Also kinda surprising bc that con was shortly before AX, which was near the big event that happened.

I really wonder what his anger is directed towards. Is it internal? Is he mad at himself for things he did or didn't do, anger borne of regret? Or is he angry at a person/persons/an organization? Or is he angry at forces completely out of his control? There's only one cure for that kind of anger that doesn't go away. I feel he's kinda overthinking it a bit here, at least for me. I first learned about him and Randon from stars, and I liked them as personalities and entertainers. Crazy hearing that none of the popular theories on what happened are even close to true, he obviously can't give specifics but he wouldn't have mentioned it if people had a good idea of what the issues were.
Honest question, what are the popular theories out there? I just thought maybe they don't like the renewal contract and just want to move on but do you know anything else?
@@louissanchez6864 i wanna keep it respectful, but certain people don’t like gramps so its possible he left because of that and professor followed him, another is that the pay simply wasn’t high enough and both of them just had more lucrative careers to focus on. Gramps had fights with his superiors so he might’ve gotten axed and professor followed him out. I don’t think any of these theories tell close to the full story
Now here's the question why did they apply and join in the first time? Did they research about the company in the first place?

I have friends that enjoy anime but absolutely want nothing to do with vtubers. He knows that there are folks who can't blend the mediums and will leave.
As IntenseFoolishness put it, I see it as a promise to not expect the base to blindly support him, and to potentially treat it like a big reset button.
The old place was already the best place you could go for corpo vtubing yet it was to the extent of punching a hole through his gloves. Some people are simply not cut out for corpo, some are and i can see he's much suited indie

I think with everything he said he made it pretty obvious that both him and Randon got wronged in some way that led to a situation where they couldn't see the possibility of moving on anymore. This is all we will ever know. I wish them all the best.

-He likes streaming because he can be himself (unlike the professor persona in youtube videos)
-He wants to try vtubing (again) it's creatively fulfilling and he doesn't have to be himself, because he can play a character

Your therapist cannot legally share what's been said outside of informing law enforcement of criminal activity. A court would have to subpoena them. It is protected info and it is in their own best interest to not disclose anything. You are supposed to have full confidence. So yes, it is generally fine to talk about NDA stuff unless you're dealing with state secrets.

Nothing made me happier than hearing he finally decided to take these roles, especially after the events of last year. I know he had talked about it during Offkai, especially with joking about how he was the only fleshtuber amongst all these Vtubers. Hell, I remember asking him if his model would be a femboy wwww. Also kinda surprising bc that con was shortly before AX, which was near the big event that happened.
Very, very interesting. The curiosity still eats me up inside as a fan of the funny green man, but this gives me some closure. Thank you for the clip, and keep up the good work translating for a wider audience. I can tell they appreciate it!

All I can say is that those two mf vtiubers, I don't know what they went through, but if they were still were around I would still be watching them.
I will die on this hill, they were the best male vtubers in that branch.

Well, the boys apparently have some "on the down low" alternate accounts they could use like they did with Doki.
i mean tbf he collabed with them irl bunch of times too but he has the creativity, and now no rules binding him, to be an incredible vtuber if he wanted to.

Wow this is so hard to hear but it really makes me sympathize with him. It can't be easy to suddenly see an entire career path branch cut from your life like that. I hope he knows success will follow him wherever he goes. He was my oshi before and imo the group was never the same after they left. I've no idea what caused him to quit but it angers me so much that the company let go

I really wonder what his anger is directed towards. Is it internal? Is he mad at himself for things he did or didn't do, anger borne of regret? Or is he angry at a person/persons/an organization? Or is he angry at forces completely out of his control?
There's only one cure for that kind of anger that doesn't go away. He needs to forgive himself, or someone else, so he can move on to the next big thing
