Wow. I literally climbed a mountain last week, and it was completely unintentional. I had set out walking and was talking with God and He led me to a mountain trail that I didn't know existed. When I got to the top, I heard God say, "Walk to the mountain every day." And over the past few days, He's been revealing to me how meeting Him in the mountain each day is preparing me for my calling. I just love when God confirms His word unexpectedly!

The karate kid parallel is very accurate. U train for a long time and suddenly it’s showtime. What God put in you just flows out.

Good comment. Though in reality the karate kid didn't train for very long. He was just a kid that had to do some hard work. And he complained like Jonah about it. It was a great scene and a great lesson.

It’s exactly that…. A warrior training programme. It’s just an internal battle that we fight to create the inner strength and stealth. I was guided to watch the live action Mulan recently and it’s a beautiful representation of a woman warrior and her journey ❤

I grew up in the 60's and 70's in a non-Christian home. I remember watching Kung Fu. There were many lessons in those shows like the ones you are talking about. Thank God He drew me to Him, and I am now a Christian. Thank you for this word. I just recently had a frustrating, time wasting experience. I was contemplating as to what I was supposed to learn from that experience.

Mary God used this very exact illustration with me. I saw a random clip of the Karate Kid the original this exact scene where Daniel San gets upset because he feels like Mr Miyagi was wasting his time until he realize painting the fence that movement was necessary and wax on wax off... also necessary but I can't remember what exactly He was telling me. I should have wrote it down ... but it was something along the lines of the lesson plan doesn't always make sense but there's definitely a purpose behind those acts that "don't make sense" but I feel there was something super specific He was saying to me personally and I can't remember what it is. 😂 how stupid am I'm please pray He brings it back
Edit: Okay I'm not crazy I don't know who cares but I looked through my youtube history sure enough sept 4th I watched the clip and I took a screenshot of a comment because I felt like the Comment summed up what God was saying but what does this have to do with me right now? 😂 that's what I need to figure out like why is this being brought back around.

I don’t quite know what to say after listening to this , I was saved 53 years ago last Saturday nite , about 45 years ago , at a couples Mt. retreat in Ca. .an elder at the church communion service , gave me a word of knowledge that I would have a life of suffering , how true it was , I’m not going into details , a lot of believers suffer tribulations , but I must say, this is the first you tube video that has spoken to me directly , like a word from the Lord in the Scriptures , I understand the “ Why’s “ now ! Thank you Mary! God has called me to become a scientist. And I've been doing many helping jobs, not being able to do my research. My professor just assigned me to read some papers about a good mindset of a scientist and how to write a research paper. It feels like I'm being trained slowly yet steadily. I thank God for this training season.
