They also fail due to poor maintenance. In a third world country this is expected...I would agree if it was a 44t+ truck but that is a passenger bus probably no more than 18t there is no excuse for the brake failure they need to be held accountable for playing with people's lives. The business owner probably doesn't give a flying toss about this. In a developed country, they would face jail and business closure straight away

ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺰﻣﺮ: "ﻭﻗﺪ ﺃﻧﺰﻟﻨﺎ ﺇﻟﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﺬﻛﺮ ﻟﺘﺒﻴﻦ ﻟﻠﻨﺎﺱ ﻣﺎ ﻧﺰﻝ ﺇﻟﻴﻬﻢ ﻭﻟﻌﻠﻬﻢ ﻳﺘﻔﻜﺮﻭﻥ".
ﻓﻌﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺃﻥ ﻧﺘﺪﺑﺮ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺘﺎﺏ ﷲ، ﻭﻧﺴﺘﺨﺮﺝ ﻣﻨﻪ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻢ ﻭﺍﻟﻌﺒﺮ، ﻭﻧﻌﻤﻞ ﺑﻬﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺣﻴﺎﺗﻨﺎ. ﻓﻔﻲ ﺫﻟﻚ ﻓﻼﺣﻨﺎ ﻭﺳﻌﺎﺩﺗﻨﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺪﺍﺭﻳﻦ.
ﻋﻦ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ ﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ، ﺃﻧﻪ ﻗﺎﻝ: "ﺧﻴﺮﻛﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺗﻌﻠﻢ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻭﻋﻠﻤﻪ".
ﻟﺬﺍ، ﻳﺎ ﻋﺒﺎﺩ ﷲ، ﺍﺣﺮﺻﻮﺍ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﻌﻠﻢ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﺍﻟﻜﺮﻳﻢ، ﻭﺗﺪﺑﺮﻩ، ﻭﻓﻬﻢ ﻣﻌﺎﻧﻴﻪ. ﻭﺍﻋﻤﻠﻮﺍ ﺑﻪ ﻓﻲ ﺃﻗﻮﺍﻟﻜﻢ ﻭﺃﻓﻌﺎﻟﻜﻢ.
ﻛﻤﺎ ﺃﺩﻋﻮﻛﻢ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻹﻛﺜﺎﺭ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺪﻋﺎﺀ، ﻭﺍﻟﺘﻀﺮﻉ ﺇﻟﻰ ﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ. ﻓﺎﻟﺪﻋﺎﺀ ﺳﻼﺡ ﺍﻟﻤﺆﻣﻦ، ﻭﻭﺳﻴﻠﺘﻪ ﻟﻠﺘﻮﺍﺻﻞ ﻣﻊ ﺭﺑﻪ.
ﻳﻘﻮﻝ ﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﻏﺎﻓﺮ: "ﻭﻗﺎﻝ ﺭﺑﻜﻢ ﺍﺩﻋﻮﻧﻲ ﺃﺳﺘﺠﺐ ﻟﻜﻢ".
ﻓﺎﻋﻠﻤﻮﺍ، ﻳﺎ ﻋﺒﺎﺩ ﷲ، ﺃﻥ ﷲ ﻗﺮﻳﺐ ﻣﻦ ﻋﺒﺎﺩﻩ، ﻳﺠﻴﺐ ﺩﻋﺎﺀ ﺍﻟﺪﺍﻋﻴﻦ. ﻓﺎﺩﻋﻮﻩ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﻭﻗﺖ ﻭﺣﻴﻦ، ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺴﺮﺍﺀ ﻭﺍﻟﻀﺮﺍﺀ.
ﻭﺧﺘﺎﻣﺎ، ﺃﺫﻛﺮﻛﻢ ﺑﻘﻮﻝ ﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﺁﻝ ﻋﻤﺮﺍﻥ: "ﻭﻟﺘﻜﻦ ﻣﻨﻜﻢ ﺃﻣﺔ ﻳﺪﻋﻮﻥ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﺨﻴﺮ ﻭﻳﺄﻣﺮﻭﻥ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﻌﺮﻭﻑ ﻭﻳﻨﻬﻮﻥ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﻜﺮ".
ﻓﻜﻮﻧﻮﺍ ﺩﻋﺎﺓ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺇﻟﻰ ﷲ، ﻭﺍﻣﺮﻭﺍ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﻌﺮﻭﻑ، ﻭﺍﻧﻬﻮﺍ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﻜﺮ. ﻭﻛﻮﻧﻮﺍ ﻗﺪﻭﺓ ﺣﺴﻨﺔ، ﻭﺃﻧﻤﻮﺫﺟﺎ ﻣﺸﺮﻓﺎ ﻟﻺﺳﻼﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ.
ﻭﺃﺳﺄﻝ ﷲ ﺃﻥ ﻳﻬﺪﻳﻨﺎ ﺟﻤﻴﻌﺎ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻃﺮﻳﻖ ﺍﻟﺤﻖ ﻭﺍﻟﺮﺷﺎﺩ، ﻭﺃﻥ ﻳﺠﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﻘﻴﻦ ﺍﻷﺑﺮﺍﺭ.

As a south Asian yeah. I don't know what's an inspection. But it looks like maybe he didn't even try engine braking. Most drivers here get a license through paying bribes, whether or not they can drive. So yeah that's not a surprise.
Nevermind. Apparently diesel engines don't suppose that inherently. So these probably don't have it since they're an amalgamation of parts.

For the record this is the highway that connects kashmir with the rest of India and from experience this highway is very dangerous and many deaths happen every year due to landslides, shooting rocks. The highway is not broad enough for the most of it
