- Mega Project of Master Business Financial Accounting. This masterpiece is hard work and efforts of more than 3 years which will make you a Master in Financial Accounting because we will learn Accounting-related terminologies in this step-by-step tutorial for better understanding. On the other hand, we will cover a majority of MS Access programming including Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports, VBA Coding, and Modules.
Have an eye on the main features of this project which include:
1. The comprehensive and complete Multi-User Login System
2. There is a profiling system to lock the features of the database to assign user rights
3. Admin will be able to monitor user activities through the auto logs functionality
4. Users can make personal notes and share them with other users
5. A comprehensive task management system will be part of this project in which the manager will assign tasks and set reminders to the users
6. Chart of Accounts Management including Business assets, liabilities, equity, and expenses
7. Products and stock management will be handled in a smarter way like low-stock products warning

10. The business operational expenses like Cost of Goods Sold
11. The daily incoming and outgoing cash flow is very important in any business, so we will establish a General Journal bookkeeping system

very Helpfull, i have question wouldn't be better if we add the profile credential to a table where they can be add updated easily rather that making them column. in case we need to add more buttons probabbly in different form.

got to the end and found that the value of admin remians and when loged on as user i have the admin setting i have to run through it two times to get the correct results. I try the debug.print on the aProfile and result is 0. Can you check on your end or do we need a routing to reset on exit or log off.

@@skillheader Found the solution user I moved the aProfile DLOOKUP above the main dashboard open from. this way I can set the value of me.txtusername before the main form opens. if below the dashboard open call all .fields will be 0 hope this explains. Overall this is a very nice set up and a graet tutorial thanks for the awsome work.
The only issue I seem to be having is once you log in and it opens up the dashboard, the menu items are disabled based on the security. However, closing the window and reopening it then implements the security. Maybe I have some other code in the login or dashboard form interferring?
great work, but in a financial project the passwords of the employees have to be stored encrypted. can you add that to your project that would be great

What I think is that MS Access Database has no such environment as cookies or any third-party app like browsers on the web, so there is no need to use such encryption in MS Access. However, securing the backend tables and data from the front-end users is the responsibility of the programmer. On the other hand, you are using Access Database mostly amongst local network-attached computers.

Ufound = 0 then....
When i put this, the login page doesn't accept any username or password, even if they are correct!!

The Glitch is still there, i googled it and it turns out that the dcount must be used in another way with certain versions of office Access!

I went back to restart from scratch as I got too big for my britches and started adding stuff I shouldn't have. All is good now except at the end I do not have profile control over the Accounts page when it is set to 0. All other navigation buttons work as presented by you. Looked high and low for differences in settings and/or vba code...cannot find anything. Would you have a suggestion as to why only one navigation button would not follow the OnLoad code for the Main Dashboard, while the others do?

i have a small issue, it happens in your code aswell, changing user profiles does not impact the state of the Navigation buttons, see at 1:00:53, when i log in as admin, i have to close the form manually and then reopen it to see the change, how do i fix this?
Move the line "aprofile=....." in your LOGIN Form's LOGIN Button before Docmd.Openform....
