Ok let me explain what’s happening. So I’m the show Naomi (Aka Brandy) thought she was being offered a solo deal, but it instead the record exec wanted to give her a songwriting deal, bc they felt as if she was too old to be a solo artist, she calls her daughter, and her daughter convinces her to show the man that she is beyond talented and deserves it. She comes to his house and sings wrecking ball, and her daughter is playing the music. And that’s the back story that led to the vocal Bible destroying Miley’s song- the end 💯💯❗️

That episode is quite complex, her character is re-establishing a relationship with her estranged daughter, whom she bought the piano music book for.. then she's being faced with giving up the rap group nasty girls, for her own solo career.. this is her appealing to the rec exec, about her solo career....
