Is that a JOJO reference? Jojo is a tutorial on how to approach in brawlhalla. Genrerally players are too slow when they approach that's why dio says "NOROI NOROI".
I was so confused because I saw the thumbnail and the Orion skin and thought it was a Stephenafro video and didn't know why eggsoup's voice was in there
I had started playing brawlhalla like a month ago and you are my go to channel to understand the game with simple explanation and great examples, thank you eggsoup🙏
I really appreciate this video! I have been having this issue for a while now and I thought I had plateaued but after watching this, I went and played ranked for a while and gained 100 elo!🤤😝 Thanks so much!😁😁
Wow this vid is really good! Really helpful Thanks eggsoup Your vids have been so helpful always and I hope that they get even better Plus I hope u get into top 3 next tournament
Thanks for this, I was really good at everything else but I couldn't read movements and often found myself trying to hit someone and literally couldn't, they dodged absolutely everything I ever did, I could dodge read but their movement was perfect, but when they attacked me I was often put in easy strings
Can you make a vid over dealing with weapon threat zones and an over all view of all the weapons and how they are played cus I feel that most of my approaches are based on what weapon they are playing and sometimes they don’t work at all. Also love the videos mlord, keep up the good work.
Don’t base your approaches on their weapon, especially if you’re in gold. Just get in their space and let them make a mistake, and eventually you’ll develop movement habits against certain weapons naturally
Thank you eggsoup for the video, we need more in depth general strategies like this. Also would you be able to upload a video showing how to get Scythe Nlight to Recovery 4 frames? Or if anyone else knows that would be great.
If you ask a question like that you didnt get the point of the video. Just like eggsoup said, every player is unique and you have to recognize their playstyle and counter them in that way
Hey man, new player here, this video was really good and easy to understand. I think you should be more confident in yourself, because the points were very clear and educational. Thanks!
Well in Fencing, a parry is when another person initiates an attack, the opponent sees this and hits the players blade out the way so that they can be open for an attack. So what you said is pretty similar.
Should make a video on how to play against lance lol for the many people that struggle against it. I don’t know if you have a video on movement but that will also be helpful
You can switch over to the CPU tab and move the bot wherever you want it let's you take control of the bot and you can move to your desired position and then switch back to your toon
This might sound super obvious and basic, but this is why I do so much better with gauntlets and scythe than I do with most other weapons... They make me play more with movement rather than anything else.
In my opinion, it’s less about the way you approach and more about when you approach, and where you’re positioned after you approach based on the options. If you’re fighting a person with guns, and you’re playing katars, get right in their face when you can and get a few hits in. If you’re playing axe into lance, get above them and fuck them up from there.
No stop, I'm at my all time peak Elo now I'm screwed cuz everyone will know how to approach (thanks for the great video, I'm at my all time peak thanks to you)
Thanks eggs. You seemed depressed in your late night talks. Know we appreciate you even if you're doing it for yourself....... I don't remember that fancy term you used but yea I said what I said and we thank you
So approaching by movement is just to create option select and mixups, noted. Quick question, I'll try and learn how to play with keyboard, what's your key setup?
Ya know the rps mindset? Everyone knows what option to pick if someone picks rock. However, if ur too cautious, and u overthink, you'll lose. Well that's me. I struggle between finding the line between what's "passive" and what's "cautious"-- or being "carefully aggressive" vs "just throwing out moves" When I'm nervous, especially fighting high level players or sometimes pros, it's hard to know what theyll go for and when to attack/ when to play it safe. I've fought Lil Capped before and lost cuz to his aggression, but I lost to Cosolix for being too aggressive. I know it changes with people, but it's just hard to know what to look out for. I took a break from Brawlhalla cuz I struggle to beat top 250 players; and it's less about elo, but more just me wanting to improve. In many cases, I lose to them doing a move multiple times in a row and me expecting something else. Or sometimes, I'll be too aggressive, but they never approach me so no matter how I approach (with movement of course) they back up or manage to punish me. And I dont approach with obvious moves, at least from what I'd like to think. Sometimes I win, and I'll watch those replays back, but it's last stock scenario where I feel like I got a lucky win from one last hit :/ Sorry for such the long-winded comment, but if ANYbody would like to help, I'd appreciate most any tips I can get. There's a lot of stuff I do to practice, so I definitely didn't mention nearly as much of what I do to try to improve; that said, I know there's probably more ways to practice, or at least more efficient methods.
