I just picked up one of these. It works fine on a Windows laptop but no sound on the TV when I use a Mac.
Unfortunately Ive never used Mac and can't comment on them. Hope you get it figured out!
Is it safe to keep these plugged-in?
I personally unplug them and keep them in my desk drawer when I'm not using them. They might heat up if kept plugged in and shorten the lifespan a bit. Not 100% sure. Just my guess.
