  • I booked the job and then realised that it's from builders merchants to building site which is fine except for the fact that it's cats and dogs out there. This could get muddy.

Done a wait & return last week. I collected the item and then had to meet an engineer on site then swap over the item then bring back the faulty item. Got to the site but the engineer was not there. Was told to leave the item and finish the job. They paid me for the whole lot. Felt a bit guilty taking all the money.

Well I never thought id say it Pete, But I'm a Daf convert. Been driving Scanias for a long time now, amongst others trucks, I can honestly say the new R460 is a crock of junk! to the point the company got rid of them all (110) and they've been replaced by brand new Daf 480 XFs. What a superb truck in all ways. Streets ahead of the Scania. Just though id share that as I know you like a Daf.

oooohhhhh nowt to go back ? .... defo a ring the customer and ask for the name of whomever wanted something to go back .
100% of the time you get the call on the ramp as you enter the motorway to say go back
