Always loved Korda's laser-like flat hitting. If he was on, man he was tough to beat. He's also living proof that Henrietta Chicken slept with a human.
There were a few players back then who were very inconsistent. On a good day Korda could beat everybody, on a bad day he lost to everybody. A little bit like Mecir, also a genius with the racked. But you never knew how they would perform, world class or amateur.
Almost everybody did in some form. He was sacrificed by ATP to give a warning to all. Players talked a lot about Muster, Agassi even admitted it about himself. Others sniffed cocaine from wristbands.
Lendl had a positive H2H against pretty much all top level opponents of his era - McEnroe, Becker, Wilander, Edberg, etc., etc. But against Korda it was 1-4. Though to be fair, Lendl was past his [rime by the time they played for the first time. I loved watching both of these players.

Yes, Korda was normally known as a "flat-hitter", but here at the beginning he played rather slow with lots of topspin.
Korda, Kuerten and Wawrinka. All three of them probably had best ever single handed backhands
Korda always had perfect timing on his groundies. Beautiful to watch
Korda could have been like Federer in today’s age and rackets.
He played in a much tougher era.
Today, one player like him, who is capable of hitting every shot might make all the difference.
What a magic hand Korda had...

5:52 and 6:22, wow !
The ball was in
It looks like a seniors match compared to today´s speed and power....
