Drmtlgy has a color corrector with SPF and more skincare actives in it. Not as pricey as Colorscience, but still definitely pricier than the concealer you found. I have Melasma so I use lots of sunscreen including in my makeup. Will definitely be picking up that concealer!
I feel like Drmtlgy and Colourscience do a lot more research behind their brands. I use both in different ways (very sensitive skin).
Beautiful! I am so happy that you were very clear about STILL needing to use your dedicated spf BEFORE using these extra boosts of spf through beautiful make up! Back in the day o was mislead into thinking that using a certain powder mineral makeup was sufficient as sun protection .... so this is important!

I use solid sunscreen on my lip and then add a lipstick or gloss. I love the idea of sunscreen in a lipgloss. Go elf! Great look ❤

I got 2 of the ELF spf glosses and I love them. Also the Ciele spf blushes are absolutely beautiful, I have 3 shades.
If there are people in here needing a real good pressed powder that can be used under the eyes and blends makeup together seamlessly, get the L’Oréal True Match super blendable powder in the triangular compact. It’s the softest, most fine, velvety powder. They reformulated the one in the circular compact to have less pigment so less coverage so it’s perfect for setting and as a finishing powder without looking like you have powder on the skin.
I started buying this over the Charlotte Tilbury and No.7. I do like it much better and it’s perfect for more mature skin where powder isn’t your friend. I’ve only found two products to give the same effect, Pacifica Cherry Velvet loose Powder, but the cherry smell is strong, and the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder oddly enough (and that’s under $5 and works and looks better than my $40-50 powders. Powder puff, beauty sponge or brush application, they are fantastic.

I love when she uses newer products we haven’t really heard of. That Spf Cay Skin looks beautiful, and if it isn’t greasy, is 45, sounds like a winner to me. If the pump doesn’t work though you won’t be able to get the product out, so I would be scared to get it if that’s the issue and it appears that was an issue for you even with a brand new product. I hate when products are great but you can’t even get any out. They do that with setting sprays a lot too which defeats the whole purpose.
I agree completely. I thought about buying the cay sunscreen but I already have an eye product from shiseido that doesn’t work properly and she only used it a few times.

Cay Skin’s spf lip product has AWFUL packaging (in addition to being very spf-tasting). I squeezed it so hard to get any amount out that it finally exploded all over. I returned it and got the amazing Jack Black spf lip balm!
I use all Ciele products on my face right now and love them. The skin tint serum, the blush and the powder are divine. Thank you so much for this video. I have some new things to try on my ghostly pale skin.

Hi Nikki, I work in the cosmetics industry and know that, by definition, pigments in makeup products create SPF protection, but until now this has not really been used as a major marketing argument on packaging. In fact, as you quite rightly said in your disclaimer, this protection created by pigments is absolutely not enough to protect from UVs damages. It would be interesting to know whether all products mentioned here have simply emphasised this argument on their packaging, or whether there are any actual additional filter in their formulation compared to competition. Totally agree about colours running warm from various brands. I have so many nuetral foundations Ive bought online that are clearly very warm (even without oxidation) when theyre labelled nuetral. I end up with a whole lot of mixinf to even use them

Supergoop has an "eyeshadow" with spf, called shimmershade with spf 30. They actually have 4 colors, last I checked. It works pretty well as like a primer. I use the shade first light (medium skin tone) and it works well topping with just 1 shade in the outer corners. I use my cream contour with it and never have creasing on hooded eyes..... give it a try.😊
The foundation shade-layering portion of the video is boss.

Colorscience has great cream bronzer, blush, and shadow sticks i absolutely love! As well as powder bronzer, champaign highlight and setting powder that is great!!!

Nikki, I agree with you about Colorescience products! I was a faithful user of the 3 in 1 undereye spf/concealer but the price is now up to $79! I absolutely refuse to spend that much. Fortunately, DRMTLGY came out with their version of that product and it is about $40 and I like it so much better than the Colorescience one! The medium shade is perfect for me. Omg I absolutely LOVE toty. I’ve been using it for a year. Usually, we wear the same shade if not close. I use 3N and 2N for brighter areas. ❤❤. They have an incredible skin serum night treatment as well. Absolutely incredible

Corscience is more of a SPF/Skincare linen than makeup. I actually love their Flex SPF, I wear it as foundation and their 3 in 1 eye has a lot of skincare ingredients so you’re getting a eye cream, spf and concealer in 1 which is why it’s so pricey.

2nd viewing of this video tutorial - so many great makeup techniques and products in this lesson. Happy to see the Toty face powder - for a long time It had a touch up powder with SPF 50, and it was dc’d -will definitely be picking up the Toty, as Mally has one, such a limited shade range.

Has anyone used the Nonie Crème Color Prevails stick? This is the most beautiful formula, most gorgeous shade in nude and it blends out like a dream, but I can never find them anymore. If this was sold in stores or was easily accessible, it would put many brand products we deem great out of business, for real. They have mastered not just formulas, but flattering shades and finishes on every skin tone.
